With as much niceness as I can say this, bert.

Shut up and let us talk.

You're only making noise.

But I'd rather have conftown involved in as many lynches as possible. It is ultimately up to Geists. If they want to be involved in another lynch, I'll support that. If not, that's their choice. I'd like to hear their thoughts about the merits of this proposal.
What makes you think we won't be involved in this lynch? If you mean do we want to leave well-developed reads for future game days, we absolutely will leave our best efforts.

Right now, I'm feeling a little sidelined due to having a different opinion from quite a few players (a majority? I'm not sure.) about Casso/Nacho. And, Nacho's own attitude about those opinions is infectious. I worry that he's not working harder on reads, but he's almost guaranteed to be in the game tomorrow and today is a foregone conclusion.

What is not a foregone conclusion is being able to go through reads with me after today. And I'd like to work with everyone on reads as long as they aren't about cheese. The process itself gives alignment indicative clues sometimes.

Zero completed games. No experiential meta.

What did you think of F-16's meta?

I'm aware it's a cold call. Once I get out of my meeting I was planning on comparing my own notes to F-16's and going from there.

I don't take issue with people scumreading me at this point; if you meant "you're all talk this game therefore you're scum" then that is an okay deduction.

Can we confirm once and for all who MC claimed masons with?
I'm open to a massclaim here; we're clearly already down our two best roles and are going to have to lynch scum today and go it mountainous.

VOTE: Cephrir
For lack of a better way of describing the pattern, he lacks manliness.
Also he has a lot of posts which have "to exist" as a purpose.
And there are lots of little 'yup this is scum's in there.
I actually feel pretty good about this one.

How much is this read informed by ASOIAF?

I haven't felt your influence this game, just some reads that weren't explained much. That's what's disappointing. That's what I meant by 'all talk.' There's just a laid out reads list and no leading others. Maybe that's part of your personality or the persona you want to be (alter ego?)?

You're just there, and Day 1 you had Tammy as a scumread. You told us in this game on D1 who the scumteam was, and you didn't really nail it that day (at least I don't recall it). You also named me in there, and considering you had no trouble reading me as town in Wingate, that worried me too.

I also think I am going to revamp my strategy for when wagons form on me that look like they may be successful or build momentum. Lately, it seems that I either detach myself completely and act nonchalant and indifferent and jokey (which gets me lynched quickly - see marathons, my latest games like Pick & Ban), or I can choose to go AtE (which is a more invested type of engagement). I don't think either is effective in fighting lynches really. Don't know how to fight atm. Something to think about.

I'm not drawing direct parallels from ASOIAF, but having played with Cephrir before does help.
Tammy is perfectly capable of yelling at people who call her scum, and worked in combination with some of the people I'd read more closely or something like that.
Tammyscum wasn't a read that stood the test of... lasting more than 3 lines of my ISO?

I'm at a loss beyond the obvious concern for someone else bringing it up first and so in a very self aware move they jump in with it regardless of relevance.

However,
In post 5719, MC Maraca wrote:I always do this, generic-san. As soon as a game ends I bring it up in others as a courtesy for players that meta-read.
If this is true then it's not something that seems as disconcerting. But I don't know how true that is. It was a good response to my short comment, so that works in their favour.

Bert. Initially I gave you a lot of town credit for the generic brand 'RL has happened, so I'm pissing all over the game' post.

But it's coincided with mr cheese suddenly stopping his trolling and you now seem to be weirdly inserting yourself into everything and being a lower level pain in the ass. And that is worrying.

Now me and you can go toe to toe in a shit slinging contest I ya like, but if you wanna make this a serious chat lets get out the notebooks and have ourselves a Holmes and Watson moment (you can be Watson, I am too abnormal to not be Holmes).

Three names, lets here reads and why...

Cephrir, muffinman, BRO... GO!

Hey! I won't argue with you, but I'll answer your questions! I'm in a different zone since it's the school year, but yes here they are

Ceph - scum because of how he tried to sort me and is setting it up in a way so he can easily vote me, also gut pings everywhere on his posts. I have been the same Bert as I was in Hard Boiled, and even without knowing my scum meta, he never pronounced a townread on me that was solid. for me that's a scumclaim.

Muffin - lazy scum that is blending in and just coasts

BRO - town because gut and while I derided him about him reading me as town for all the wrong reasons (my "caring" is more as town BS), it is understandable given what he has seen me do as scum.

I don't have the energy/ability to do more in a large game like this, sorry

You know what to expect from me with two past games, so don't get your hopes too high but I will do what I can!

RL is always happening for all of us! It isn't an excuse for me unless I'm limited access at home, which I'm usually not. :)

Does the fact that scum may have daychat as Cabd pointed out in D1 (or was it D2?) strengthen or weaken this?

Well I was being a troll because I was really sick of hearing the "Bert you're scum" commentary that has become just a sheer annoyance, added to lots of two players's posts. Every post that Nero had mostly seemed to be "Is Bert dead yet' since Day 1 (same with SAD), and that's really annoying after a while! The only way to stay positive is to see the humor in that, but I instead came off as a prick. Sorry about that!

Trying to see the humor in it! So far I'm managing okay, but I'll keep it to myself next time, guys. <3 But the game being too overwhelming for my capabilities was totally true though!

That's just Nero being Nero, he wanted me dead for the majority of FEA. All the time "Hana's scum" "We should lynch Hana"
ftr Nero calls me Hana btw.
