I think SB is better for Alche. Ofc that Maelstrom is good (farming) item, but tbh, I rather see carries join war as fast as they can rather than late game.

I still don't understand what exact time carry needs to farm or join war, though. Sometimes our carry join war and enemies's carry farms, and suddenly they got better carry than mine even though we had better kill and tower.

I used to love getting maelstrom --> SB. I think the current meta favors lothars before maelstrom though.

Also, I think there are things that MMR numbers don't say. I got the MMR for my smurf, and although it's only 200-300 lower than my main, the skill level between the two accounts differs greatly. Makes me wonder what really determines skill rating

it really just depends on playstyle. if youre going to sit in the safelane for half an hour cranking a 900+ gpm then a lothars is going to be a waste, but if youre trying to be more involved and do some initiation for your team then that fast lothars is gonna be p clutch. basically the same circumstances youd want a lothars on dk.

i played some bot matches and I'm kinda leaning toward getting the shadow amulet and then building maelstorm then finishing lothars. Cause then I have the flexibility of being able to stop building maelstorm if my team needs me, and go strait into lothars to start stunning some fools.

The hardest part for me is the ability balance between unstable concoction and acid spray. I'm still not sure if it should be straight back and forth or maxing concoction at lvl 7 or 8

I max greed if I'm carrying. 2, 3, 1, 3, 3, 4, 3, 1, 1, 1, 4, 2, 2, 2.

Support I ignore greed and max other two. 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 4, 2, 1, 1, 3, 4, 3, 3, 3.

It just depends.

And I don't play much Alch so my builds might be completely off.

If you're gonna build lothars just finish it. No point getting a shadow amulet then getting maelstrom.

As for builds, do NOT max greed IF your lane is not going smoothly. For example, if you have some retard who thought it was cool to pick jungle instead of a 2nd support, and they're offensive trilaning you, go for fighting build. You should always scale stun at lv1 though.

Also I discovered last night how fun it is to explode ppl as a support alchy, spray + medallion + stun can take off 70-80% hp for most heroes when you hit lv7.

Yeah, support alche is awesome especially this. Roshan is easy (not about stun).

But tbh, at my rating, they rather to not see support alche. The respond somewhat, "what? alche support?". (Well, this makes me never use support alche anymore)

Just found sick Meepo's player. Totally carrying his teammates alone. Aghanim + Manta + Skadi, unstoppable Meepo. (Though my teammates had no carry also...)

So I found out my crappy RV park internet is actually good enough to play a full game. Damn I was rusty…. Lost my game as Mirana.

I have been practicing Lone Druid in lots of bot games, and yesterday I won a co-op game with him. I find team fights to be a real nightmare, but that could just be because it's against bots who have a billion nukes usually.

I havn't seen a tri lane in anywhere other then cap's in like...... ever.

Dusa is godly and the strongest carry (imo) that you can have once farmed up. The problem tends to be getting the farm on her, and surviving to late game in the first place. She;s quite susceptible to ganks in the first 15-20mins (depending on how fast you farm your items), and 5-man pushes can pin you to your highground pretty fast.

PLEASE DO NOT GET HOTD FIRST ON LUNA LIKE A CERTAIN SOMEONE, LEADS TO VERY SAD GAMES *coughcough*
If you have it thoguh, stack ancients (BUT BE CAREFUL OF STACKING ANCIENTS AGAINST A TEAM THAT HAS TINKER AND URSA TROLOLOLANYE)

My luna build is basi (sometimes you upgrade to aquila for the extra early-mid game dmg, but I tend not to) --> boots (i like phase, most get treads) --> drums --> bkb --> luxury based on game (manta, mkb, satanic, bfly etc)

Grab a ranged jungle creep and put it near your ancients. Stack the ancients with the jungle creep.

Share control and tell your supports to do it if you're at a level where they understand what that means

dual lanes are actually so strong this patch, but most players are still stuck in the old meta. My games consist of mostly trilanes, with rotating (smoking if good) supports.

Played a duallane off as CM with BB yesterday, and got 8min blink and 19min sheep.

p.s. CM + BB lane is op as fuck
