B: Are elimination matches going to be public or private with everyone else only seeing the results?

Aside from that, I don't want this to turn into a social game, so don't bother asking me for alliances or anything similar. I'm just going to give each challenge my all, and as much as I enjoy competitive Pokemon battling I'm going to attempt to do as little of that as possible while still remaining in the game.

A: This is happening onsite, but feel free to make any QTs necessary for team discussion.
B: I will post who won each elimination match, with full details of the match available for disclosure by the winner of the match. So if the winner wants to share a replay of the battle, that's their decision.

How do the team rounds work?

In individual challenge rounds, in most cases, the 2 highest ranking players will be assigned as team captains for the next round, and the 2 lowest ranking players will be sent into elimination.

In team challenge rounds, in most cases, team captains will have 24 hours to submit a list of the players remaining in the game ranked by preference; these will be used to determine the teams, with each captain receiving their highest ranking player that hasn't been taken, until no players remain. The captain of the team that wins the challenge will earn a Gym Badge, and has 24 hours to select two players from the losing team to send into elimination.

Round 3: All Pokemon are Level 11
etc.

All items, TM moves, and egg moves are fair game

So basically you probably don't want to use any level up moves. Serebii is the best source I can think of to see how each move is learned.

Yeah, apparently Turtwig can't learn EQ until it evolves to Torterra. It can learn Earth Power though...

I wouldn't necessarily say any Pokemon are better than others entirely, since Chikorita is probably best suited for support, with moves like Leech Seed and Aromatherapy, but a lot of it depends on how people use them. But I definitely see your point, that's why all Pokemon distribution from now on is determined by challenge performance.
