UPDATE:

Players moving the same number of steps in a round will no longer bump into each other since that adds needlessly more luck into the challenge, and doesn't logically make sense. Moving the most steps on a round is the only thing that will make you trip now. If desired, players may re-submit lists. The challenge post has been updated to reflect this change. I am very sorry for the inconvenience and my lack of common sense.

Endgame:

Once only three players remain in the game, a final challenge will be held. The winner of this challenge automatically advances to the Final Two, while the other two players have a battle for elimination. The winner of that battle then advances to the Final Two.

The winner of the game will then be decided in a series of three battles, with both players using only the Pokemon they obtained throughout the course of the game, and neither player being allowed to use any of their Pokemon in more than one battle. The first player to win two battles wins the title of Pokemon Master.

The endgame is the aspect of this game I've constantly struggled to achieve a balance in that ties the social, challenge-based, and battling portions of the game together. I strongly considered having a jury system similar to Kingdom Clash, allowing all eliminated players to give either finalist one or all of their Pokemon. However, to make the challenge-based nature more meaningful, to keep final teams from consisting of all OU Pokemon, and to make players value every Pokemon they receive, this endgame procedure is now set in stone.
