The scummiest thing Teedy did was try and make doubt be cast on you, but Maurice was doing the same thing. The whole "he claimed, unprovoked...pretty scummy" nonsense is a waste. Except I don't want to hammer yet, and that's a bad attitude to take if you are town or scum. It is a worse attitude if you are town, since it cuts conversation short. I think Maurice is more likely to be bad than you, hence why I'm not hammering you.

If you are so resigned, do some stuff. Claim. Hit us with your death reads list. You don't just want to be an easy D1 mislynch, right?

If someone is a Tracker, they had better counterclaim. An exposed Tracker who could potentially be saved in exchange for half of the scum being lynched Day 1 seems like a fair trade to me.

Okay, so every time I've tried to come on, the site has been down. Sorry about that.

Maurice babbling to himself is actually pretty town. It isn't like I've never seen Mafia put an enormous amount of effort into the game to seem town, but I usually see that coming from more experienced newbies so I'm starting to have doubts about my scumread.

Anyway, I'm wary of voting Rach because I know and have seen first-hand how lynchable she is. That may not be quite fair, but Rach when she is town is an easy target for scum, so I'll need a pretty big case to vote that way.

Maybe I WAS hasty in townreading Maurice. I do think RM is town, even if this read is based on meta, I feel like at least one of the people on her is scum. So I guess I'd vote TC or Maurice.

Every single time I come to post the site is down! Seriously getting on my nerves. I've typed out a whole post only to not be able to post it.

Anyway, I want to know why phok? I seriously fail to see what he has done wrong, and you are all refusing to give reasons.

Y'know, I actually came in here to make a post about why I thought Maurice was town, but the more I think about it, the more I get the feeling he actually is scum. Twilight makes a good point about his posts being fluff, and going back and ISO'ing him, all his posts are either fluff or restating old ideas. VOTE: Maurice

Looking back, I think phok may have been looking for an excuse to get his vote off of Rach here. He used that "soandso makes a good point" line on me, and I think I'm actually using it as evidence to suggest that Twilight is town.

As far as I'm concerned, the two most likely candidates for our last scum are Skelda and Rach.

Maurice is confirmed town. I have a really hard time picturing Raptor as scum, especially after quick hammering phok. I mean, it's possible, but I really can't see it.

So that leaves Skelda and Rach. At this point I'm leaning more towards Skelda but I'll wait for a bit more before throwing my vote down. I don't have a great case on either of them so I'm not in a rush to move things along.

I think that the other scum got on phok. I think they were one of the last to join the wagon, so I'd actually see GR as a viable option.

It is very foolish to assume that scum wouldn't do any distancing. I do not think that Rach is scum, and I know I'm not scum. And I could see GR quick-hammering Phok for easy town cred, yes, I could.

And GR, "I wonder if he is scum or just has a busy time schedule?" Activity is not alignment determining. My interest level for Mafiascum has been on a record low, and once this game is over I'll be taking a break, but I also have an incredibly busy schedule. I will try and come on as much as I can for the sake of this game, but I do not think you would be wise judging me based on how much or little I am around.

With that being said, yes, it probably makes sense to vote for me just because I didn't vote for phok. And look, I've basically been forced to reconsider all of my reads upon phok flipping scum. If anything, how not prepared I was for that should say something about whether or not I was scum with phok.

And things like many people finding me suspicious is not a point against me. I still don't understand how you caught phok, if I'm honest, since there has been very little persuasion and more just blindly expressing suspicion. And yes, my lack of activity is not going to be used against me. But I fully expect to be lynched today, that would not surprise me at all after standing by phok.

If Skelda is (somehow) town, then Rach would be a good target, considering that Skelda said that we were "blindly killing myself and rach" so either Rach is mafia, or Skelda is, or Skelda is an idiot.

They aren't both mafia, because phok was mafia, and there's only two mafia. So, that means that it's either Skelda or Rach. Skelda seems to be VERY suspicous, so it's him, I bet.

Look, I am not bad and I don't think Rach is either. What I meant by that statement is that tomorrow, I would rather you not lynch Rach. You are already gearing up to do it and setting it up, I can see it coming, and from my TOWN perspective it seems bad. Please do not immediately vote Rach tomorrow, I think scum is elsewhere. That is what I meant by that.

With that being said, I am a VT and I understand why you find me suspicious. I've basically done nothing all game and I defended a flipped Mafia. I expected to be lynched the instant I saw phok's flip. Now I could go into the whole. "Would I be so blatant in defending my scumbuddy?" rubbish (the answer is no), but I can already see that you aren't going to buy it. So just lynch me now before LyLo and think long and hard tomorrow. I'd rather not be alive because I can already tell that if I were alive tomorrow and you didn't get scum today, you would kill me and lose. I think you have a better chance of not lynching Rach in the end.

As much as I dislike Raptor's reasoning, I think Skelda is still where my vote is going to have to go. Rach has at least put the effort into posting some sort of reasoning with her votes, which Skelda hasn't really done. Plus, his play is actually startlingly similar to phok's.

Now, I will give that Skelda is actually posting and responding to comments, even if it is just Raptor's comments, which is considerably better than what we got from phok. That being said, I'm going to avoid actually voting for now because I'm not interested in baiting another quickhammer, and I'm interested to see if Skelda has any more reads/opinions that he'd like to share.

And to Raptor: let's pretend we lynch Skelda, and he flips town. Do you have any suspicions on anyone else?

Maurice, Rach: thoughts at all?

I'm down for lynching my top scum reads and all, but I would like to get a bit of a wider perspective before we lock into anything.

Um my main read is that you should not lynch Rach based on the reasons for being suspicious that you have provided, since in my experience this is very typical of a Rach game. If I had to pick a scum right now, I would choose Raptor, but I could see it being Raptor or Maurice. But once again, I don't want one of them to be lynched today unless you decide that you 100 percent are not getting me tomorrow, because otherwise I'd be a liability. Since I don't see that happening, it looks like this is it for me.

I'm sorry that I wasn't more helpful. I really, truly am. I am getting weary of Mafia on this site, and need a break from it, so that's why my heart never was really in this game. I did give an honest effort, but most of the apathy you are all detecting as scummy is apathy towards the site in general and not towards this particular game. I'm sorry I didn't give the best impression to the new players. But hey, you got one scum already, you have a very real chance of winning, you've got at least one power role left who isn't me. Maybe this can be the first Newbie game I play in which the town actually wins.

Right now I'm looking mostly at voting Skelda. Like he said, even if he is town at this point, the lingering suspicion over his head is going to cause problems for us in the next day.

Beyond that, I'm feeling really torn about Rach. While she hasn't done much to make herself look any worse than before, she hasn't done a whole lot to make herself look better. I don't want to write her off as town yet, but she's definitely not the target for today.

Yup, I agree with you. I am town, but until I don't think you are going to see that and so I suspect suspicion will linger on me and I would generate an easy win for the scum tomorrow if we shot wrong now. So, hammer away.

I find GR incredibly suspicious in his last post, it really seems like his "keeping an eye on Rach" and "barely anyone else suspicious" are setting up lynches for the next day. Please keep an eye on him for me. Please, TC, I think you are good, and I think Rach is good. And he keeps bringing up that "saying my name three times" but it just seems a little outlandish to me.
