You went to war. Regardless of the purpose, you used force so I'm taking defensive action.
If you will remember, it was to depose someone who was killing civilians. Not only that, but hostilities have since ceased and I have disarmed back to standing status

I'm preparing to defend myself and retaliate. Nothing more. You can whine as much as you want, but I give you my word that they will not be used unless I am attacked first.
Well, this is quite an outrage if I ever saw one. We will not be building any sort of nuclear missiles, but we will however build defenses, and we will take the risk of hurting our economy a bit by spending
10 billion towards nuclear defenses
and nothing else.

@Mhork: This was also a thing in the original, and if you didn't notice this
at all
, then I'm rather ashamed.
I know, it's a harsh world out there, but you REALLY got to pay attention to this sort of stuff.

I had hoped there would be some level of actual roleplaying here rather than a herp-the-derp fight everyone with because lolz mentality. It's infuriating because no one seems to care at all about anything other than fighting and trying to be all secret insular despite the fact that that's not how the world works.

I found your style to be overbearing and irritating, and it took me out of the game. So I stopped posting for a while, just watching. That's fine - you're playing how you wanted, and I'm playing how I want. I wanted to see what the reaction to me pooling all my resources into nukes would be - that's it. I've got my reaction. Now I'll consider what the plan is now - to be fair, realism is pretty fucked when everyone can see what you're doing.
I have received almost no interaction from people within the game, outside of the thread.
3B on nuclear weapons
3B on propaganda stating that we will only use the weapons for defensive purposes
3B on nuclear defences
10B on creating a world sporting event, if there is interest. Open to anyone who wants to send participants.
5B on researching laser technology

specially that bolded tho
In character, we would be delighted to engage in these games with WhateverNexus'CountryIs and will follow any Toposian recommendation for the undiplomatic stance set by the shockingly new-but-oh-so-familiar "leadership" of Elybria
That depends on when the sports events take place. If it's during the winter, then sure, that makes sense. Regardless, I wouldn't mind having some of my nation's sports teams take part in this event.

Amyr will participate in the sporting event.
That's fine, and it's his style of playing. Unfortunately when you get a random group mashed together, there's always going to be clashes. It's nbd
In post 1744, Lord Mhork wrote:Thanks, RedPanda. I appreciate that. Roleplaying is kinda a big deal to me and stuff...
Then perhaps getting into it in a massive game on a board with well-known lazy people (flakers) wasn't a good idea? To be fair, Mhork, I didn't have a problem with the roleplaying - it was the ooc whining that annoyed me. Either way, I'm over it now, so let's just play the game - if other people don't want to participate then its fine.
Also, if this ends in a nuclear holocaust and I'm now not prepared, I'm blaming you. Entirely

Topos will be hosting internal competitions to send the best of our nation's athletes to the World Games. We look forward to the day of friendly sporting!
