They banned Deo-D in late B/W, so it's obviously suspicious (just like Genesect I guess...).
I haven't played X/Y Showdown seriously, though, so I have no clue of its current status. Deo-D was actually BL for a while in B/W, if I recall correctly (I might be wrong at this one though).

My favorite Pokemon is, indeed, Blaziken (that being the main reason why I chose it at first). But I know its pre-evolutions are very weak without Speed Boost, so I changed my mind.
I'm wondering what's up with Charmander, though; the Mega-evolutions actually should make it viable in Smogon high tiers.
About Fennekin... I don't know much about it.

Most strong 'mons with super-effective moves can rip through them, even after the first boost. Their initial bulk is okay but not excellent.
Also, until they get 3-4 boosts, Stored Power is a joke of an attack.
EBWOP: @ani: Actually, if Magic Bounce still works the way I think it does, then Mega Absol is by no means unaffected by Cosmic Power or Psycho Shift (I think you meant Stored Power). And you don't want to get your Absol burned either, since it's a physical attacker...

Sigilyph is indeed a nasty fucker. But when you see it in preview in the higher tiers, you know what's coming, and to be prepared for it.
And against experieced players you won't get more than one turn of set-up. They will likely scare it away under threat of sending in a Pokemon that can steamroll it, even at +1/+1. Preferably one that attacks on the special side. And most teams have at least one of these guys.
So, annoying? Yes. Unstoppable? Hell no.

Also @orci: I think you can make odds depending on how people bets for each player... but I think it might only work for massive groups. That way I think it's good, but you should probably publish how much was bet on each player, just for fun.

By that I mean: Is it valid to have a Pokemon that owns some egg moves in one battle, then the same Pokemon with different egg moves at a later time? Or a Pokemon wih no egg moves at one battle, but with egg moves at a later one?

Well... there are some other bans in LC as well, such as SonicBoom and Berry juice (?) and the like... you might want to use them until 'mons hit a certain level, then change the set of bans for the OU banlist.

I agree on that, but we might have to keep an eye on the Protean issue and its development in the official metagame, being a new ability and all. However, such a complex ban doesn't make any sense. Either we ban Protean (maybe for some Pokemon or a level range, for example if Froakie is kicked from LC or something like that) or we keep it as-is.
Now that I think, Kecleon might actually be the most dangerous 'mon so far, with unlimited Protean STAB and massive stats in comparision with everything else...

I don't think the issue needs discussion... but 60 SpA, for such an early stage of the game, is actually a lot.

@orc: I mean, most unevolved 'mons have low stats, so base 60 at Level 14 is actually a good stat. Even though it eventually becomes a ridiculous stat.
About this challenge: I totally have no clue about how one third of the available 'mons even work.
EDIT: And either way Kecleon can access many of those 90 BP moves itself, so I think that point is somewhat moot.

Well, about this whole deal, it's clear that the ones winning the challenges are using orcinus as their own personal chopping block. They aren't even trying to get orcinus out, and that might turn on them as the game drags on.
And I was in the same situation as you were, Mhork (literally one round before my team's intended aces, Drilbur and Croconaw, evolved, and two before Hippopotas evolved as well). And it was annoying, sure. But that rant was kind of uncalled for to be honest.
Still, a player can simply cruise through the game after getting a strong team and stop caring about the challenges, just like orcinus is doing now. And that's not a good thing. Maybe introducing some twists, like "direct" elimination challenges (as in, not involving a Pokemon battle), might prevent this from happening, and keep the players more attentive. If there's ever a Pokeocalypse 2, of course.
