I'm trying to reason out why he would provide a clarification for a read for you, but he's not really shedding much light on the situation. Also, when someone practically posts a wall in every post when it could simply be said in a sentence, it kind of gets irritating to have to read and that's fogging up my judgement a bit of my read on him.

Second @axle, I couldn't really understand post 126 too well due to the massive amounts of information that didn't have to do with the question, but 128 did clear it up for me. However, it doesn't matter if I understand your answer so much as if 3dice understands your answer.

Third @3dice, post 128 is probably the best explanation of that statement that you are going to get. I didn't find it that meaningful. If you see otherwise feel free to press on with this line of questions, otherwise I would probably just give up on it

@Axle: In poker, Texas Hold Em specifically, there are times when a player is chasing a hand, lets say they have 4 clubs and need a 5'th club to make a straight. The final card comes and they do not make their hand, but the 5 cards on the board are somewhat connected (maybe a possible straight has just come in). So, that player chasing the hand will make a huge bet in order to have everybody else fold. This backfires when one of the other players was chasing as well and just made their hand. This move is used so often that you can successfully do it and get paid off when you hit your hand. You make your straight on the final card and bet huge. Opponent has 2 pair and would not call a huge bet when their is a possible straight on the board, but thinks you are bluffing and calls and you make a ton. That's a polarizing bet in poker.

As for the Oka/Reis question, I'm actually leaning toward lynching Reis at the moment. I think Oka just panicked when the pressure was put on him and the unwillingness to get off him just didn't seem right. I guess I would expect some resistance if he was indeed scum. That being said, that implies that the scum team is a competent team that knows what they are doing. And, since this is a newbie game, I should probably get rid of that misconception.

I don't think he was dodging anything, rather asking for clarification. And according to you, he was trying to clarify. But suddenly, when 3dice is saying he's not and dodging, you change your tune to match 3dice's. So which is it? Was he clear or was he not? Was he dodging or was he not? You can't have it both ways.

Because it's very self-conscious and shows that your mind is not on finding scum but on trying to blend in and not look suspicious.
