People ultimately play UPicks because they like the theme, at least, I like to think so. I wrote the roles to best reflect how I envisioned each Touhou character would be in the World of Gensokyo. Although, staying close to canon power-level wise meant that whichever team that had Yukari was going to be overpowered (she was one of the characters who I had wrote the ability before rolling for alignment), I didn't think that the setup was too imbalanced for the scum team. I do regret giving 1-shot No Lynch card to Rumia role, and in hindsight, I shouldn't have done that. I'm glad that it didn't matter in the end, though.

Congratulations to the scum team for their perfect win. The setup may have been favoring them, but that's not to say that they didn't play a fantastic game. Some things they just got lucky on. Sakura was playing probably best I have ever seen her play, but while all of PR targets are perfectly fine choices, they all unfortunately ended up hurting the town. I do wonder what the heck was going through vezok's mind when he shot Sakura during night 2. I thought Sakura's ability in a game where it's forbidden to fake daycards would make her Innocent Child all but in name.

I'm bit sad that Bitmap was outed so early. He had a very strong PR. I'm also very sad that notscience wasn't able to stay in the game, as he would have caught Varsoon's scumslip during day 2 for sure, and his character's vig ability would ignore Varsoon's 1-shot bulletproof. Perhaps the game would have reached a different conclusion. Who knows.

The setup is incredibly snowbally due to the sheer number of compounding PRs on both sides. Mafia obviously had their 2 shots per day. Town had an unlimited JOAT, full cop, as well as number of other roles that grew in power as the game progressed. (roleblocker, double+ voter, deathproof, etc) If mafia are lynched/killed early in the game, town would be ahead by a huge margin. If mafia are not lynched/killed early in the game, mafia had a huge advantage. etc.

Huge thanks to all those who replaced in. I thought day 1 was actually really fun to read, and hopefully catching up wasn't too painful. It's also very difficult to replace in to a UPick for which you don't know the theme of. Knowledge of the flavor would help out somewhat in setup speculation I think. (mainly in realizing that Yukari would be a Super PR, but there are bunch of other little things)

I hope that you guys had fun playing the game. It would be corny for me to give an explanation for how each character's abilities fit in with their theme in flavor, so I won't do that, unless you ask me to.

Wow. Kagami was actually town.
I caught zmuffin day 1 and none helped me lynch him. Fuck his ability that blocks stuff.
Varsoon was incredibly lucky.
Magua was obvious, but oh well.
Also ffery was a troll all game.

Also sorry victor for the hammer' but zmuffin would've done that either way. Also fuck the amount of vigs in the game.
