I pretty much agree with Wake that there is way too much hostility in this game. It's frustrating to read pages and pages of personal insults. I'm not opposed to the odd insult if that's what it takes to get the best out of certain players, but that's not what I'm seeing in this game.

There are so many players that have made little impression on me thus far. Based on the fact that I townread a number of those who have left an impression on me, I'm inclined to think the scum lie among those who haven't , so those are the people I intend to scrutinise. I kind of recommend others do the same, rather than tunnelling on nonsense Wake and SKOT stuff.

So I understand its like page 21, but I'll sort of introduce myself. I'm Aeronaut. This is my first non-newbie game, and I also haven't played in a few months so it's a little overwhelming with so many people, but I think it's going to work out fine.

OK, let's get down to brass tacks. I voted NM because I wanted to pressure him for him maybe-slip. Because that's what ii is, a potential slip.

I'm Town, but I don't if he is, so I want a reaction, and I certainly have gotten some. And NM's faulty post about fluff was interesting, too, because methinks it's him just being cynical and/or paranoid, which makes me think that comes from a Townie mindset. What I did find a bit odd was his 55's last sentence, where he says I pretty much called everyone who didn't post "/confirm" Scum, which I didn't. Huh.

Then NM wonders why I find his post interesting, and that his paranoia raises him up a bit in my list. Which in itself is interesting. At least to me.

Salamence et al should explain themselves a bit more, too. I vote NM for what looks like a gaffe, and then FoS another guy doing the same thing, to gauge reactions. You can call that bad all you want, but you'd be incorrect. It's not hypocritical in the slightest if you're trying to Scumhunt.

Also, Salamence's 64 needs to be remembered. That he's seen other people called Scum for the maybe-slip NM did is immaterial, I'm not sure NM's Scum at this point, but I want to see more of his reactions regarding it. 65's crap, because it's an appeal to authority that has no weight to it. Farside I think he's paranoid because he's overreacting a bit in a paranoid fashion in regards to my post. That tells me he's maybe more likely Town than Scum.

Reinoe's vote is crappy, too. This is Day 1, folks. Day 1 is nothing

Skot is the optimal lynch today and should go ASAP. He claimed tracker over the laziest dayvig attempt ever. Now I said before that tracker probably means multiball, because there is usually a scum tracker in order to find the other team. Now that is the best case scenario. The worse case, is that he is a town tracker that will waste his time either trolling Aegor/Me or just being useless as he is now.

Regardless of my vote on him, I would like to apologize for my nervy insults-of-sorts. In my culture insults are a statement, not exactly an insult. (Swear to god). We don't take this sort of insults very seriously, but I can see how it would to other people. I don't want anyone to feel bad about anything at all other than poor gameplay (we are playing a game tho), so I am withdrawing my frustration-reacting insults with an apology to those that may have felt unconfortable with them.

424: Do you suspect Scarab for 208 because of the OMGUS? I do not really see the leaping off the wagon unless you are claiming that Scarab's vote on Mirhawk was an actual attempt to move off Wake, in which case I would ask you how you could know that.

Also, Scarab's vote on Mirhawk was clearly explained in the very post in which the vote was made.

It seemed to be that jumping off a wagon as soon as someone tells you that your vote was wagon-motivated is something that scum would do, because scum like to avoid scum-tells. Mirhawk said his vote had been oportunistic, and Scarab's reaction wasn't to explain his vote a little better, he straight up accused him of being scum. I saw that as an opportunity for him to get off the wagon he was accused of being in to join another one. That read scum to me. Also, I never said his explanation didn't exist, rather, that it wasn't the best one out there, and the vote was poorly motivated.

Further play from Scarab told me he just attacks people that suspect him. That also makes me suspect him. So having suspected him, I prompty got attacked. The only reason he hasn't voted me was because he thinks me and mirhawk (the people who attacked him the most) are the scum so far, and his vote's already on one of us.

As Salamence has said, in this game, communication is the key. What we needed to do so early in the game is put pressure on people to see how they respond. That's what Wade was supposedly trying to do. But that doesn't seem to be Scarab's style. SO there.
