DIRECTOR. So this is the final episode. Who do you think is going to win?

CECILY. WOOOOO!!!

FRANCINE. I'm just glad I got to play!

(Curt stomps noisily into the apartment.)

CURT. Am I late?

CRYSTAL. Hey there guy want to do some meth and then have a roll in the sack.

CURT. No thank you.

CRYSTAL. MY LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE NOT AT ALL LIKE THE COOKIE CUTTER EXPERIENCES EVERYONE ELSE IS HAVING.

CYNTHIA. So who wins?

DIRECTOR. Guess!

DEMETRI. The secret alliance!

PRODUCER. Holy fuck where did he come from.

DEMETRI. I read your emails.

CRYSTAL. Everyone's invited to my party!

DEMETRI. Dear god, no.

JARED. What secret alliance?

(The Biker and two police officers crash through the windows of the apartment.)

BIKER. You're all under arrest!

CRYSTAL. OH FUCK. THE METH IS ALL FRANCINE'S. BUT I WILL SUCK YOUR DICK FOR FIVE DOLLARS BECAUSE THAT'S EDGY.

FRANCINE. I don't want to go to prison, dearie.

BIKER. Just kidding, we were running a Truman Show style social experiment. None of this is real and we filmed all of your descents into depravity and madness for a much better television show called Graveyard Shift! The release forms you signed are still binding by the way. Also Crystal that wasn't meth, you've been snorting rock candy for a month now. And your name isn't even Crystal, we hypnotised you so you'd be addicted to meth. Didn't you find that at least mildly ironic though?

CYNTHIA. Was all that Minty Mints shit real?

BIKER. I'm afraid so.

COP 1. My firstborn son is up for sacrifice tomorrow.

COP 2. And I had to give my left nut just to prove my devotion.

BIKER. That sounds pretty negative, acolyte. Do I need to recommend you for remedial consumer purchasing?

COP 2. NO SIR MY CREDIT CARDS ARE ALREADY DANGEROUSLY OVEREXTENDED.

CRYSTAL. Someone needs to come having regret-filled meth sex with me right now or I am literally going to kill myself.

JARED. Wait! Who won?!

CECILY. WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

EPILOGUE:

In the end, Crystal finally realized that a life spent doing meaningless small things probably is just what her personality dictated. So she married Curt, for the sake of symmetry in that way. That little bit of personal poetry was the one thing that kept her going on rainy nights when she lay awake at 3am and said "was this all I was here for?".

That and endless consumption. Buy things, my sheep.

Okay seriously we'll post mod stuff tomorrow. Thanks for the game, everyone. This is a mechanic I've been wanting to run for about four years now, and I'm glad I finally got to do it. quadz is da man.

6 scum in a 22 player game was pretty OP. :( Especially when town couldn't cross talk.

I'll give more detailed thoughts later.

Either that or it's because the game's over.

I think I took Serene's comment that they were losing the game for town whatever their alignment in the sign-up thread to seriously. We really should have lynched them before B&B.

I was pretty amazed by the PRs available to town — especially the NK-commuting lovers which earned you guys several days without a scumkill.

I'd say that my best moment was either bussing Serene or planning out Brian's misshots.

But in general, the game felt like us making the most of town lethargy.

I'd assumed you had just missed submitted them.

(we knew you hadn't shot us, as our role pm stated that we would have been told if our vest was used up)

once we knew the vig was opposite shift,
we could set him up to misshoot by creating a pool of town doing poorly and scum doing well

That comment in signup thread was a joke about how piss-poor Serene1's play was in NY165

I was pretty shocked that mastinAP actually got lynched, especially after we changed our claim. Always lynch me if I change my claim, I've said it like a thousand times--- I don't do that as town because I don't fakeclaim as town. Mastin was spot-on when he said that I was playing to my scum meta part and parcel. Serene's ISO was pretty much intentionally useless for the purpose of scumhunting after our lynch. You'll see in the dead topic that basically two things happened:

1- We decided to try and save zoraster with our fakeclaim. This went over like a lead balloon so we went for plan B before anyone could figure out what had happened...

2- We then trolled the shit out of the town and did everything in our power to use our inevitable lynch to break up what was a very strong town bloc. Mastin, AP, BRO, Cheery, Brian, mollie, Desperado, Nacho and Sven all have extensive experience both with one another and with several members of the scumteam. And for the most part, all of these players were town-reading each other. And four of them were lovers together! We decided to cut the head off of the snake and sacrifice ourselves to lynch mastin and AP. We tried to kill the lovers (god dammit), and we knew that BRO was on borrowed time anyway. We buddied the living crap out of Brian (and Zepher) while bussing Jordan into the ground.

For the most part it worked. Those of you unfortunate enough to ISO our slot found yourselves looking at an incomprehensible wall of lunacy and trolling. Jordan was mostly untouchable to many of you because we had cross-bussed so heavily. By Day 4, even though two scum were down, the town bloc was in tatters.

SleepyKrew wins the Golden Mist award for this game--- once he replaced in, he took over as one of the "town leaders." He took advantage of the creeping apathy and used it to spin the narrative that took the team to endgame. I want to say this is my first time seeing SK as scum, and I was impressed.

Honestly, I was impressed with everyone's play this game. I seriously didn't think we'd win this at various points, and I don't feel like I can pick one player whose performance was terrible. All-in-all, I had a blast.

Thanks for modding, Tripod. Definitely one of my three favorite mods.

The shifts thing was really helpful for scum, especially the way shifts were assigned at the beginning.

Also the AP/mastin lynch made 0 fucking sense.
