Yes and no.

Hoopla's done some strange things this game and I keep coming back to those with eyes raised.

However, I can't see why scum-hoopla uses the gladiator D2 on any partner, much less the one they did; because that in-turn pretty much double validated ZZZX and it wasn't like it shored up that slot forever in doing it. It just doesn't make sense and not in that carefully crafted scum machinations way.

I'll try to refrain from my wifom reasoning of hoopla scum with bob scum thought process.
My main issue that was never explain was picking bob in the first place.

@oversoul: your reasons for scum reading shin are wrong, he points it out and you still keep your vote on him. Please explain why?

However, I can't see why scum-hoopla uses the gladiator D2 on any partner, much less the one they did; because that in-turn pretty much double validated ZZZX and it wasn't like it shored up that slot forever in doing it. Why do you think this? Hoopla already stated on day 1 that she had a way to confirm herself as town, and then put Bob up for no/bad reasons.

wtf happened to the wagon

ZZZX was almost a guaranteed lynch. I don't think Hoopla counted on Bob being lynched at all; from what I remember it only turned out that way because ZZZX claimed quickly and people thought he was obvtown for that.

Hoopla gladiatoring Bob and ZZZX would have worked out in her favor even with a Bob lynch- it would get her the towncred she needed to avoid a lynch, and that's playing out now.

Hoopla is scum. The flavor claim ignoring the title being dead in flavor and subsequent "oh I guess I didn't mention that I replaced them" is her just sweeping it under the rug, and I realize she might not have had time to object to Bob's claim but in hindsight I would expect town-her to have at least hinted to/crumbed the similarities in some way. What makes much more sense is Bob knowing and claiming Hoopla's action because they were scumpartners- he certainly couldn't claim a town version of ninja godfather etc etc, so the best option for a quick claim when the wagon was so high on him was taking a town version of Hoopla's merging/closing action.

Her I think there is scum in each neighborhood but not pushing those reads. Example she doesn't scum read spy so should oversoul be pushed as scum over shin if she believes scum in each hood?

I think hoopla is town. I disagree with using that ability D2 like it was used because it was a waaay shot in the dark that, if failed, would have turned into dominoes that could have potentially lost the game. However, that disagreement doesn't change that the series of actions that took place make very, very little sense from scum.

I've thought about that part of it too. But if the plan was throw ZZZX to the wolves what is step 2? Because, and I wasn't the only one, I was absolutely 100% ready for no words voting D3 on a town flip there.

And, unless its "have to throw a buddy" if hoopla was scum why pick a scum on that gamble?

The amount of things that are autotown are extremely small.

HOWEVER, in a general sense gladiator is town waaaay more often than not because of how strong it is for scum.
