That is a miss, so it is now CDB's turn.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Gamma, I suspect you're in the best position for an XO. It would be nice to have a riposte at the basestar but also if we could get a scout away in the hopes of getting some jump prep. Are you in a position to do that? I will probably still XO you anyway but I feel like I should check what you're going to be doing first.

Anyone have any brighter ideas?

I was going to say XO Poro to guard the civies but I don't think there's a way for them to attack them before his turn and I think your idea is much better.

inb4 cylon reveal on XO, (although I suppose it's a bit early).

I'm just going to do it anyway. Even if no scout, two shots at the basestar sounds pretty great.

Move to Command.

Play
2-Executive Order
on Gamma.

yeah i do have a launch scout, firing at the basestar and using it. I'm assuming I should be looking at the crisis deck unless I'm misunderstanding you?

Firing at the basestar (5+ is success)
Original Roll String: 1d8
1 8-Sided Dice: (3) = 3

Launch Scout 2 strength (3+ is success, otherwise lose a raptor)
Original Roll String: 1d8
1 8-Sided Dice: (7) = 7

Food Shortage
President Chooses:
-2 Food
OR
-1 Food. The President discards 2 Skill Cards, then the current player discards 3 Skill Cards.
Activate Raiders
Jump Prep

So Nexus to choose.

Gamma, how you looking for skill cards? I'm happy to discard 2 to save 1 food.

Choose bottom option

Discard Consolidate Power - Action: Draw 2 Skill Cards of any type(s). They may come from outside your skill set. Strength 2
Declare Emergency - Play after strength is totaled in a skill check to reduce its difficulty by 2. A limit of 1 "Declare Emergency" card may be used per skill check. Strength 3

At long last, the mod is back online, so let's go!

Activate Raiders moves the Raiders at 11 to 1, and Jump prep increases to stage 1 (no jump possible).

I'm likely going to use a Consolidate Power to draw some blue cards.

I have an XO (so woo me with your plans if you want it) and a Launch Scout as well, but I'm leaning towards the CP.

Even if my crisis moves the raiders you can just move to protect the civvies on your turn so unless you have a really good card from your hand you want to play I think I'm probably just going to get cards.

CP seems reasonable, unless you want to XO the president for Quorum cards.

Ooh that's a good point...Nexus do you want to burn two skill cards to draw 4 quorum cards / draw 3 quorum cards play one / draw 2 quorum cards play 2?

Also let me know if in the future you'd rather I discuss my turn or just do something to make the game go faster.
