I may be buying into a cheap infomercial here, but for right now I'm going to bite anyway. I think I see where Aegor is coming from right now, though I could be wrong. If I am, nothing will stop me from voting Aegor tomorrow.

HS was a combination of PL/scummy. I was not as confident about HS as I am about BP. I have much more reason to believe that BP is scum.
To be fair, unless there's a PR that's gotten a positive result, we all vote based on a level of certainty of our own beliefs. Conviction in our own votes is what drives other people to take deeper looks at suspects. Considering Aegor's response to my similar question, at this point in time I'm willing to believe that's the level of certainty he was at with HS.
