- Play nice. I don't mind you guys using bad language, but don't direct them to the other players. Insult the playstyle, not the player.
- Do not use it or anything close to it.Spoilered, bolded textusing various colorsis for moderation.
- Do not use provable randomization in this game. Saying that you rolled a dice is fine, using dice tag is not.
- If you break any of these rules, I will punish you at my will. This can range from a simple warning to a modkill/force-replace.
- If I feel like it, I always have a right to add/modify the rules. If I do, I will fully explain the reason behind such action.
- Remember that at its core, Mafia is a. Play to win, but have fun too!game
TECHNICAL RULES
- You control your vote through the boldor VOTE: vote-and-UNVOTE: unvote tags. An unvote is not required to change your vote. Also, if it looks like a vote, I will count it. No tricking me!
- For insurance that your vote/unvote will be seen, please put it on its own line. Though I use Ctrl+F, I will not be held responsible if a vote hidden within other text goes unseen.
- Lynch happens when half of the players + 1 vote the same person. Once lynch happens, the lynchee and the living players may talk in "Twilight" until I arrive and post the flip.
- If the deadline is over before majority hits, the day will end with No Lynch.
- If you do not submit a night action, it will count as No Action.
- If you are lynched or killed, you may post one information-less "bah" post during the following Day phase.
ACTIVITY RULES
- Deadline for each day is 7 real days, and deadline for eachnight is 1 real day/24 real hours.
- If I have to extend the deadline, I will. If I do, I will post it in the thread.
- 48 real hours without a post means I will prod you. I will start looking for a replacement if you do not pick up the prod within 24 hours or if it is your 3rd prod.
- If you will be on Vacation/Limited Access, please tell me beforehand; either post it in the thread, or PM it to me.
SETUP-SPECIFIC RULES
- have access to daytalk, a shared nightkill ("kill"), and individual non-consecutive nightkills ("kill2").2 Aliens
- is revealed at game start, and has a daily dayvig ("kill") power that must be posted in thread to be used.1 Laser Cannon
- have 3 shots each to doctor ("protect") a player at night.6 Bunkers
- The Laser Cannon's dayvig resets the votecount, but does not extend the deadline. It also cannot be used if a lynch has already been achieved for the day.
- Bunkers cannot protect themselves at night (for players who are used to the original version of this setup).
- wins when either:The Invasion (Aliens)
- The Laser Cannon is eliminated.
OR
- All Bunkers are eliminated.
- The Laser Cannon is eliminated.

Again, congrats to the town!
I think the Aegor lynch Day 1 really almost guaranteed a town win, because of how swingy this setup was. They had an ok chance of winning if the Clusk lynch went through.
Overall though I think the setup was a bit townsided. The original source setup comes from an environment where nights are 30-40 seconds, LC has 30 seconds to shoot, and 30 seconds to lynch someone, and I barely changed anything from that source. Maybe making the bunkers have 2 shots or making them also non-consecutive would help balance it? maybe.
With regards to the whole "ZZZX should know better that there's only 6 bunkers!" thing, not exactly. Pokémon Online mafia is set up in a way that every setup fluctuates from a minimum of usually 3-5 players to a maximum of around 40-50. You get a minute to join the game, and the number of each role and which roles even appear is determined by how many people join. As for Space Invaders, when the following number of players join, the following role distribution occurs:
5: 1LC, 1A, 3B (still with 3 shots each)
6: 1LC, 1A, 4B
7: 1LC, 1A, 5B
8: 1LC, 2A, 5B
9: 1LC, 2A, 6B
10: 1LC, 2A, 7B
11: 1LC, 2A, 8B
12: 1LC, 3A, 8B
...
49: 1LC, 9A, 39B (with only 3 shots each, still!)
So balance in the source really does depend on the original playercount, and it's very swingy. But a lot of people like it- it's a totally different world out there!link in bio-

The most fun option tbh is running it as a large game; we had a 16? player forum version running on Pokemon Online here a while back, with 3-shot bunkers (but they could selfprotect)
Aliens won night 2 when nobody protected the LC.
I was saying in the dead qt that removing the ability to selfprotect could actually have made it more townsided, since bunkers don't have the chance to risk being selfish or not and trying to WIFOM a protection lollink in bio-
