Disagree, I found tracking down GP/PT results as they were happening incredibly easy on the old one; now it's just a labyrinth. I can see how some of the design choices are a push and just come down to preference but some things have just gotten worse.
Comparing the site functionality of a site you are very familiar with to the site functionality of a site you have no familiarity with whatsoever is doomed to be completely biased.
My biggest gripe about the PTQ system is that it exists at all. I say we should send invitations to the pro tour at random; maybe drop them from a balloon and let the jet stream decide who's in.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
Most of the issues I had with the website have been fixed since I gave Wizards feedback via the way they told us to give feedback. I'm still not a huge fan of it, but it's growing on me.

In other news, playing a PTQ in madison this weekend. Taking UR twin with MD blood moon and vedalken shackles. If you're in the area, stop into misty mountain games and say hello. If you need to borrow a deck, let me know, I can probably hook you up.
The new Netrunner cards are pretty sweet so I mostly want to focus on finally getting back in to that instead of playin' Magic, but I have a really comfortable couch if you wanna chill in Madison instead of driving home after the game.

Wanna catch Guardians of the Galaxy Saturday night after your game? Last showing is 9:25 pm and the movie theater is across the street from my apartment so you can just come whenever you're done and we can hang out until it's time to walk over?

Unfortunately I have to hang out with my friend who I'm staying with Saturday night. Uhm. I don't know how/when I'm going to be able to fit everything I want to do in.
He can come too if that'd work, I do have Mario Kart 8

And then there's the matter of the other 3 people in my car. haha.
Ah mea culpa.
Well if it doesn't work it doesn't work, but shoot me a PM if y'all feel like coming around to my area. I'd drop in on you but it's an hour bike ride each way which is a little much just to say hi.

Went to the PTQ in Madison today with some help from Shea's buddies. Went 2-3 with Affinity and then dropped. Was a fun experience and I'm glad I did it. Felt pretty comfortable playing the deck too, even though I hadn't before.

Since I didn't actually post it before, I went 5-4 at GP Boston. X-2 made Day 2, so I was out at Round 8. Merfolk with White Sideboard was surprisingly good, but I dropped two rounds to Burn, 1 to a mirror, and 1 to Storm. Would have killed for Leyline of Sanctity and Echoing Truth in my sideboard every round.
Played 2 Win-a-boxes on Sunday, between watching Featured Matches, using a friend's Affinity deck. Ensoul Artifact was insanely good. Lost the first one to Storm, and the second one to a slightly different Storm. Stony Silence hurts when your board is a Mox Opal, 2 Darksteel Citadels, 2 Cranial Platings, and an unequipped Ornithopter
