I am not told who shot me. I am told I was shot. Then instead of dying right away during the night, I die in the end of the day. Simple as that. It isn't actually a safe scum claim cus if someone really hits me I will obviously die. So. Yeah push me more scums.

What UT was getting at in his post, is that this is a terrible claim for the town to have hanging over our heads. It's not a claim that can be proven easily, and well he's scummy as fuck anyway. I understand the instinct to dismiss it as a 'town who doesn't give a fuck". But still instead of defending himself or justifying his scummy actions he went straight to lording the claim over our heads, which is again, not town. You asked if his claim would be bad for town, and I say it's bad for town right now. Because either A) we got to sort him eventually because he'll never be a target for a scumkill or B) hope there is a pro-town killing role out there to sort him for us. In my opinion the best thing to do with something like this is take the actual claim out of the equation. Instead look at his play. What did he do? Is his play indicative of a protown mindset? Etc. etc. etc.

Kinda hard to look at them to find scum when you act like this and get people (like me) to start scum reading you due to you acting scummy by not trying....at all.

Basically, I didn't read you as scummy till you got run up to L-2 and started putting in zero effort. Wanna know what it looks like when someone claims to be town and then doesn't act town because they are getting run up? Looks like scum that sees death and has zero reason to put together scum hunting posts because they already know who's town and scum.

If you town, get off your ass and analyse you wagon and do your job as town and play to your WINCON for the short amount of time you get to play.

You could've just as easily made p315 about me and Lynx. I'd say I more blatantly called him a Newb and changed his demeanor in my p241 than BE did in his p216... and it was more directly related {chronologically and thematically} to Lynx's "change".

Aside from that, I feel that there's a discrepency in his Claim.

Konowa has been trying to get gameplay506 to answer these questions for some time now. Instead, gameplay506 has gone into "LALALA TOWN'LL BE SORRY GG" mode and not even attempting to respond to questions at this point.

Not much time to post tonight, made wife watch dead poets society as she has never seen it and just really not in the mood to post a ton.

Very quickly, I accept the claim. Its general weirdness I find believable.
I think it is weird as anything the way he pushed everyone to make him claim, but if it was done in a genuine attempt to draw people out I can understand. Is this day 1 sort of behaviour normal from gameplay?
I won't be voting for gameplay today.

I understand completely, Konowa. I've been monitoring behaviors and interactions, like HighShroomish hopping on the wagon gameplay506 started against me, and then defending gameplay506 since his wagon's been growing.

So in my mind (much like a town mind, who knows not who to trust until cold hard facts / events take place), if gameplay506 comes up scum, HighShroomish will end up with a red light above his head.

Is there some other kind of logic I should be using?

I like this post. I sorta wanted to make it really obvious to everyone that I liked this post.

I dislike the RVS post when the RVS is clearly over, but I know many players who do that. Leaving the Vote there smacks wrong, though.

I further dislike the point against Konowa speaking in 3rd person. I have no idea how this has any bearing on alignment. The rest of the Reads could just be platitudes, but I'm not really up in arms over any of them.

I'd be interested to hear what those hating on Lynx for Voting me over other 'stronger' ScumReads have to say about p149. Geri is unashamably holding an RVS Vote one of his strongest TownReads over... well... anyone else.

I'm not a fan of the knee jerk reaction to the Vote on him and fallout thereof. I'm reserving full judgement for his responses to Kthx's most recent posts, though.
