, has survived but lost (see setup-specific information).
Maruchan,
1-Shot Cult Recruiter
, has survived and won!
Game over! Cult wins!
Night actions (if not obvious from above):
OkaPoka shoots Klazam.
Maruchan recruits ProHawk.
I made a mod error during this game, but I don't believe it impacted anything. I failed to remind Klazam when he PM'd me a question that if the Cult wins Night 1, then only the Recruiter wins. My bad, just realized this now. ;(
1) I hate Maru’s meta. It allows him to get away with being completely anti-town in scum games because he’s practically playing against wincon in town games. smh
2) It’s realllllllllly bad to talk about who you would shoot in Cult Vengeful. It effectively removes the possibility of hitting the same person as the Cult Recruiter, which is the situation that would allow a 3p LyLo. Unless you’re somehow 100% sure you’re hitting the Cult Recruiter (and you’re never that sure, unless someone cheated somehow), you should always keep pretty mute about who you’ll shoot. This is the big challenge of Cult Vengeful, imo. You have to show enough of your scumhunting to convince people you’re town and not to lynch you, but you have to not show so much that the Cult Recruiter increases their chances of winning by knowing for certain who to select that you won’t shoot.
Nope, I saw past Maru's shenagains and called it. Why you guys lynched Oka is beyond me, I mean HELLO Maru couldn't even explain his read or vote. Lazy scum is lazy and scum. Fuzzys hammer was survivalistic to the max.
I love this setup, I don't think many of you do because it takes some intense D1 scum hunting, Just the feeling I got. ..

this made me lol so hard.
It wouldn't have worked as well as it did this game if not for all of the minecrafters, as seen once ProHawk replaced in.

This is also why I usually subscribe to policy lynches, depending on the policy.
Techinally is playing to my endgame win condition aganist the rules?
I mean, way i figure it- i have a nonzero amount of suspicion of maru right now- dav is less likely a cult recruiter than maru is. But if i manage to get either dav or oka lynched, they'll shoot each other. Im pretty sure m's slot is town, and since he got replaced, im p sure that if maru was cult he would recruit me, because both dav and oka is deadset on each other and because the replacement isnt m, so maru would go for somebody he knows.
My best path to victory, seems to not care wheter town or scum wins. So if either dav or oka is scum, i win as town, or if maru is scum, i win as scum.
You know, theres no answer you could give here i think. Enjoy a glimpse in my thought process i guess lol.
Relevant pm to rob.
I shouldn't have flipped to oka, I should've stayed on dav and made him self hammer. That way Maru would be more likely to recruit me, and I would have won under my mistaken answer from Maru. The one day left just made me panic a bit.
TBF the relevant setup details were in the first few posts and the wiki page, but yes, I dun goofed. Apologies for that. If you had become cult, Klaz, then I would have given you a "win" as well due to my mistake in leading you down that path. Either way, your strategy failed - you weren't recruited.

I told you I thought you were scum :p
I had it narrowed down between you and Maru. I honestly thought you were going to listen to me when I said "lynch Oka, shoot maru." M wouldn't have been okay with his lynch if he were scum, because he knows we'd do it, and Klaz just played too town to be scum.
