Eesh. That's not a crisis I'd hoped to see. I can dump the remainder of my hand into this but it would be no more than a low contribution - I could handle the discard but, equally, it's not much greater a risk to me personally to try going for it.

Very dependent on how everyone else is feeling about this.

Firstly, we don't lose any population because of the population roll, because of CDB's strategic planning. Unless Im missing something?

Secondly, I am a bit worried (as always) that we keep just denting our morale... or trying to, that said, from my point of view, I am completely unable to help with this skill check.
Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.

The +2 was included in the dice tags. The roll was 4, raised to 6, which fails.

I can do a real solid amount for the check, and i feel like the red destiny cards should be out of the deck at this point unless they've been reshuffled already, if std or nexus can put in a good amount i'd rather do the check

Most of my cards are low so I'd be putting in a lot of what I have left (I have 5 remaining) to help with the check.

Mod: We're not going to do the skill check, I chose the other option.

Food increases by 1, Morale decreases by 1. All players discard 1 random skill card:
Gamma discards
Evasive Manuevers- 1

Nexus discards
Consolidate Power- 2

CDB discards
Executive Order- 2

STD discards
Repair- 2

Poro discards
Evasive Maneuvers- 2

No Raiders to activate. Jump Prep increases to 1 (No Jump)

Apollo has a flex draw; Poro must decide how to split the 2 Politics/Leadership draw.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Can I double check how many cards I should have left? It says six on the front page, but Im almost certain that is incorrect.

You have 1 card; as a time saver, the 6 in the front page includes the 5 you're about to draw.

Also, for anyone keeping track, the leadership deck was reshuffled just prior to Poro's draw.

Hmm, at this point in time, I am looking at going to the research lab, or Launching a Scout, any thoughts?

There are worse times to use the Research Lab but I'd rather see a scout.

Scout on a 3+, lose a raptor on 1-2:
Original Roll String: 1d8
1 8-Sided Dice: (2) = 2

That's a failed scout, which brings us to the Crisis:

Security Breach
Difficulty 6
Leadership
+
Tactics

Pass: No Effect
Fail: -1 Morale, and all characters in the "Command" location (no one) are sent to Sickbay
Basestars Launch Raiders

Gamma is first to contribute.

Can we confirm what strength the Launch Scout card was, please?

I can play low into this.

The cards I can play are strong cards, I'd rather not purely from a over-shooting standpoint.

It sounds like we'll need a little more. Depends on STD, I guess, but I'd much rather pass this than fail. Morale is on the low side.

I don't have a lot that could help, I'll put in one low card.
