Also worth noting that I am actually colorblind folks. Blues and grays and all between are not my friends.

I mean, I know like a royal blue when I see it, and I know a gray when I see it. But if they get close together in shade or if things are small enough, they become indistinguishable, and certain shades just don't register with my eyes (I swear my parents' house is blue but it's apparently gray!). I also had no clue that I set that background as purple - it looked pretty blue to me. So that's probably a thing I should make note of. When I worked at McDonald's we had a grey countertop that was speckled with light bluish things.. that I never noticed in 3.5 years. I only found out when they tore them out to remodel because of a conversation where someone lamented they were nice and I said "They're solid gray... nothing special." and drew several dumbfounded looks.
E: I'm also never offended by it, because it might have come across as I am. It's a funny thing to joke about more than anything.
