This last week has exactly one game that matters at all: LL vs. Yiley (fan of all bad teams). DGB is in (even though it doesn't say that) because there are 2 spots and 3 teams, but she's a game up on LL and Yiley, who are playing each other.

Some seeding stuff is up for grabs, but in my experience unless you get a bye (and Zach and Bert have byes locked down), seeding doesn't matter.

I never do that because I think it's dumb. I also can't think of an occasion where it's actually cost me a game either.

It's a very specific situation, but if you know that a poor outing by a starter is going to lose you ERA/WHIP, and QS, IP & Ks are either decided or not relevant, then it makes sense. I think there were a few last year where I sneaked wins because I didn't start someone on a Sunday and they had a bad line.

You were awesome, Bert, certainly didn't look like a first timer. Almost every time I was annoyed someone got picked up, it was a player you'd added. I was lucky to get away with the IP win yesterday, which made all the difference.
