Please double check that you are playing your game! If we get too many errors with people guessing at the wrong game, then we'll need to figure something else out.

Oh hey could we do it like there are three "courts" (I'm used to using this system in gym class)? The top tier court would have the current champion. Winning in one of the lower courts moves you up to the next court. If you lose in a lower court, you go to the back of the line in that court. If you lose in the champion court, you go back to the first one.
Does that make sense?

Would that make it harder for new people to get in on this? Maybe it doesn't make sense to me but it seems like there would be room for people to drop out, it would seem like mostly the same folks would have the opportunity to play with less opportunities for those in the queue to get in on the action.

The lowest tier would have two new people each game (loser would go to the back of the queue, winner would move forward). So yeah probably not as accessible to new people as it is currently.

That would be very interesting to do and something I'd be open to exploring. I was planning on eventually running even more than three games at once, but this idea may conflict with that a bit. Others can feel free to opine on whether they think that would be a fun way to structure it or not, or if they have any other different ideas. I'm game for trying that though.

Multiple "courts" of the lowest tier that funnel upward to one champion court could work.

I don't know if we have the playerbase for multiple courts in a tier though? (But I don't really see an issue with the original idea)
Fickle, cold and harsh or caring and warm
Strongly opinionated or barely invested, but a constant
You know the wind will always come back.
