Because there's a possibility that scum don't have fakeclaims. If this is the case, you can confirm yourself as town after we lynch Mathdino-scum and then town will have a significant lead coming into tomorrow. So, again, why wouldn't you?

My setup speculation was literally the first thing I thought when I saw the game ad (coloured text, kinda distracting). I made no such assumption, I said that massclaim would be good unless there were fakeclaims, and I'd appreciate everyone knowing the game's actually begun before massclaiming.

My bad on the dayvig part, thought that was just a bad fakeclaim since a minor character's safer and dayvig is good for threats.

Edit: Pretty good reason not to claim is so the scum don't kill you at night. Jussayin. The ONLY way massclaim helps us is if everyone claims and we out a scum D1 through it.

Massclaiming flavor helps if we get one scum out of it because that one scum will also bring a ton of confirmed town. Massclaiming flavor doesn't hurt in any situation.

BoL, do you have a specific reason for assuming this game is badly designed enough for flavour claim to benefit the town more than the mafia? I'm not referring to role based stuff, more mod and general mini theme knowledge. Is it still normal for this to be the case?
