The change to leveling confuses me. It would seem that reducing the importance of leveling would just lead to more passive lanes. I thought riot hated that.

That was hilarious. Same guy kept dodging so both teams knew what the other would pick, so they take my warwick away, i randomly pick fiddle, we win. 3 for 3 on the night, thanks AP and Iece.

I kind of like the changes. I like that the turrets will be slightly different (more so than now).

They seem to have really focused this on sieging.

Dragon no longer grants global gold.

Smite changes are interesting, and will really punish early smiting.

I think the jungle is too complex, and they've nerfed fastpushing something fierce. Not good for watching (or playing, really). Granted, it's all gonna change and shit, but still, blech.

There are definitely some changes I like, but I think there's a whole mighty fuckton of them that need scaling back.

I really like the wolf bonus for smiting, as a side note. Will be great for defending against invades. (Do wolves before you start blue to gaurantee no invades).

I forget that garen and fiddle are champions considering how I see them once every like 70 games and have no respect for their place in the game right now.

But then they give soraka an aoe silence. Malzahar's q has a massive silence. Cho's silence is massive. Etc. Is it purely to remove the assassin's silence-death combo because they were point and click and, therefore, undodgeable aside from staying out of range? Soraka and cho silences are essentially point and click aoes given 0 travel time, etc with significantly greater duration. Is the fact they're not attached to a kit that can proceed to deal high burst that makes them okay (let's ignore the fact cho's ult is enormous true damage burst)?


It's because they can't full->0 you after hitting a point and click silence.

Cho is at least gated by his range.

If garen can't 100-0 you in the time he's got you silence, he's not half manly enough. And forgot to buy his IE.

So looking at that, garen is probably going to see some changes in the near future. Games where he gets away become really stupid for opponents, there's really little counterplay. On the other hand, he's a bit lame and boring if you aren't blowing people up.

I just had an AD Jungle TF on my team, and he was astonishingly powerful. Is this actually a legit pick, or is that just somebody's pet random build that works for them? (Flare into Bork, IIRC)

I love when massive changes hapen in LoL. It's like getting used to a new game all over again. Everyone is experiencing something crazy and new.
My favorite jungle change is getting your own little guard wolf for your jungle. Fucking cute and awesome as hell.

on the turret
. I don't like it being extended to champs as well.

The inhib continuous attack is okay, but I'm a little leery of the 4x a second part. Maybe 2x a second, or 4x over 2 seconds.

You can run away from garen before he silences you because he's melee.

Also he can't full->0 you during silence.
