Am I the only one who is amazed and loves almost all the new splashes?

As somebody who would've considered themselves a Kayle main for a period of time, I REALLY REALLY like hers, actually. The texture in her wings and in the "bubble" (which is obviously her ult) are the key points, IMO. The armor also looks a lot cooler, by extension same with her portrait.

I don't like the fact that her boobs are so big that they obscure her face in the splash. It's a real problem with female character design, and Kayle shouldn't have it considering her character archetype. I duunnno.

The rest of it is pretty awesome.

I hadn't actually noticed Kayle's boob armor. It's indeed dumb. I always thought her splash's side-stepping of the boob armor gimmick was really cool.

Boob armor in general annoys me because real armor for women would not be boob armor. They can accentuate the hips to make it gendered in a less silly way.

My main qualm with the Kayle art is that she looks too much like Pantheon.

Notes to self:

1) I still hate playing with Ezreals. I can't see him as anything other than a bad generalist
2) Yasuo has very little counterplay and is still ban-worthy. He will continue to be ban worthy until they remove his w and either remove his crit chance or his % armor pen on ult.

In general, IMO, there will always be champs that some people think are ban-worthy, and there will always be champs who MOST people think are ban-worthy, but the exact same things that make them frustrating to play against are the things that make them so much fun ("fun", n. - that thing you should play games for) to play as yourself! Why not relish those times instead of worrying about what happens IF the other team gets X champ that you hate playing against?

Yasuo, for example, has such a high skill cap to me that every time I do get to play him I figure out some new nuance to his Q procs or his W timing or his R range. Fizz was so much fun just to derp around on my first few times, I can't imagine how much fun it would be to actually know what you're doing while troll-polling around the Rift. Kassadin is one who might fit your standard - he was an insta-ban when I first started playing, and I never knew why because I never saw him played (because he was an insta-ban, repeat...). Only now that he's been "nerfed to death" do I see why he's SO MUCH FUN and such a good champ...which he still is.

That being said, I'm going to ban one of those first 2 in 95% of games where the other team doesn't beat me to it.....but no amount of bans from normal players is going to change champs like these to the degree you're asking, to the point where they're completely not-ban-worthy AND completely not-fun. (Yes, I'm implying that, generally, those things go hand in hand.)

I for one wouldn't want to sacrifice one for the other - I'd rather you just keep banning them if you don't want to see them.

BTW there was some comment earlier about somebody "never being excited about Gragas support" and I'd 100% agree, but it's not just Gragas. Most sub-par AP supports I see are people pushed into support who would rather take their champ mid and who don't understand the mechanical differences of taking that champ support instead of mid.

My own pet peeve, Lux, never excites or even gives me positive vibes. Just from a kit and numbers standpoint, she's sub-par in every way to Morgana, and if Morgana is banned you usually need to counter whatever they didn't want Morgana to be around for (usually Thresh/Leona/Braum or other hard engage supports, correct me I'm wrong here).

I ban Morgana whenever I plan to play adc and have any input into bans, she's just hell to lane against regardless of who your support is. Basically if you get hit ever by her Q or ult, you just die. (Bear in mind that I tend to play less-mobile ADCs like Varus, MF, and Ashe.)

My personal three "default bans" are Blitz/Fizz/Morgana, as those are the champs I hate playing against the most, but I'm usually open to my teammates' suggestions.

I'm very much for "I'm not in the mood to play against this" bans, mainly because you can't ban EVERYTHING that's "ZOMG BROKEN CHAMP WTF EZ LANE" using three or even 6 bans - something will always get through. Mobility is king nowadays. It's why Kassadin will always be a God among men, it's why Fizz is an annoying troll or a lovable pro (depending on which team you're on), and it's the easiest thing to ban against, IMO.

Immobile ADCs into Morgana are harder, I'll agree, but her ult requires you sitting near her and STAYING near her to achieve maximum effect, while her Q is pretty slow and televised. If you've laned against her enough to hate her I'd start to memorize its CD and casting animation, or just be ready to strafe out of it like with any skillshot. Not really advice you have to be a high rank to give, I know that stuff and I'm not saying I'm a master of anti-Morgana-ness.

Had a shitty game on Soraka (who I don't play often) into a Morgana earlier tonight, ADC had shit hardware (according to him) and DCed several times, but it wasn't hell. Is it good play to focus a Soraka support in-lane? I found myself the target of most of her harass and poke, mainly Qs, so I got pretty good at dodging them but was surprised more of the focus wasn't on my Lucian. Then again maybe there was silent agreement that they'd each stick to one of us and let me heal him up after trades...? It was odd.

What I find most annoying about the ult is that you start to go in on the enemy ADC for a trade, morg runs at you and presses R, and you have to back off to avoid the stun, probably taking lots more damage than you were able to deal because now the ADC is hitting you while you run away.
