So, I see the thread, Day 2, my top scumread has just said some very scummy things. Hey look, L-1, time to post intent. The problem is where exactly? That I didn't say enough on day 1?
There are posts like this one though. Scum caught for wrong reasons?
I also think the fact Wgeurts sacked himself like he did indicates that his mafia partner was on his wagon, I think said mafia partner is likely OC and not Jagged though.
Because it means he's immediately being lynched, and his flip strongly implicates me. As long as his scumbuddy is defending him, he shouldn't give up. Also, I totally wouldn't have defended him as I did, but I guess there's really nothing I can say to make you believe that.
In post 1029, serrapaladin wrote:I agree that some of wg's recent posts have been terrible, but I don't see how they tilt the scale from VI to newbscum. I don't agree with BBT's interpretations in 991.
BBT has been all over the place today, but I'm actually leaning town on him. I want to say it's Jagged/Brian, which would be also supported by the flow of votes yesterday and brian's continuous soft-bussing of that slot without ever voting there.
This post condemns Serra as Wgeurts scum-buddy.
Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.
Notice how OC unvoted right after BBC's vote, and then re-voted after the fake claim. Also the words he chose when voting for Wgeurts day 2:
Wgeurts really did just make the scummiest posts of the game in a matter of one page. I honestly would have zero justification for voting anyone else at this point. Not even my biggest biases could possibly ignore those posts.
-> Mafia sees slips more readily than town because they already know their partner's alignment and he is 100% sure wgeurts is mafia after the posts he made.
-> Partner you fucked up and I'm sacking you.
After lynching wgeurts and he flips scum though, I'm willing to bet they'll be much more willing to listen to me about you BBT.
-> I will get town cred for lynching you.
@BBT
I think my reads this game are much better than yours.
By that logic Brian is also scum, he is actually more scum than Serra because at least Serra has this excuse:
Serra wrote:First, I never said that you and WG are town for your level of activity. My comment said something like keen wallposting, which I reflects much more than simply being active. You both have volunteered much information, and your posting style has been loose and fairly aggressive, which in the context of you both being new to the site suggests town. This is something I may need to revise further into the game for you as I get a better idea of how aware of your posting style you are, but when I've seen posts like yours and wg's in newbies, they have come predominantly from town. The fact that your posts have come in walls is quite relevant, as it suggests that you both go through the game sequentially in context, and comment on anything you consider worthwhile. This stems from a mindset of trying to solve the game as a whole. The converse, shorter posts picking out individual things to comment on, often reflect someone searching through the thread for sensible, unattackable comments to make that will give the appearance of contribution.
Which explains how he could still see Wgeurts as town despite what everyone else thought of him. You yourself don't seem very sure of the fact as right before I cc'd Wgeurts you had unvoted him and had gone on Jagged.
Copper, you were town-reading Wgeurts for most of D1 correct?
I had Wgeurts as scum from my very first post.
I had Wgeurts mafia for half day 1 and town for the other half roughly, I think he did a good job with his defences. I ultimately got Wgeurts lynched while you were going on Jagged whose alignment is undetermined at the moment, but more likely town given the hammer intent.
You misslynched Waffle (I tried really hard to save the bloke) and you were wrong on Thor.
