Asshole doesn't equal scum. I can be an ass at times and it doesn't make me scum. It just happens to be an attitude people get. I try not to let someone douchey = scum mindeset, if I can avoid it.

This seemed to be the motivation for aphix, so I was unsure.
the reason why I asked WBO the question I did was because i did a meta search. Unfortunately, there's two things that give me a pause in the meta: No scum games, second he took a break.
The differences between the games are actually alarming, but not enough right now that i want to lynch because things he said I actually like.

Assholes tend to be vote magnets, but sometimes scum can get caustic to avoid suspicion, too.
What's more important than whether someone is being an asshole is what kind of an asshole they are being and why.
I'd be far more suspicious of someone's assholishness that came across as staged or overplayed than an asshole just being an asshole (<-- that would be me).

Welp, honestly since I've called you scum to me your posts have become more cold and calculated House-like. Which is still a concern. It does take a lot to change me off my gut reads. We'll have to see. I don't have anything stronger to go off of and people don't see the same things I do. So hopefully I'm wrong in it.
