Umm.. Unless somone's win condition is to get this thread's views up above a certain number, could you maybe do a new post instead? So we don't have to keep checking the thread to see if there's been an update, and can instead rely on the forum's "new posts" feature? That would be quaint.

And of COURSE my play in this game doesn't match with my play as town. I'm not friggin' town! There IS no traditional town. I don't win if the other 3rd parties win, and I assume none of them win as a group either. The only people concerned with winning as a group in

What I have trouble believing is you're so clueless you didn't read the mod's PM which talks about the majority faction. But you keep referencing "town" as though that means what it normally does in this game. That tells me that your approach to this game has some groupthink behind it. I keep saying Mafia because you claimed you killed a townie, but I suppose you could be Town, claiming you killed your partner in order to distance yourself from him. FTR I thought Jason was taking credit for that kill back here.

well this is easy to debunk

look at the last choose your role game where I said town even though we were mafia

"Town" there had a meaning, though. There was a traditional town that just happened to be called "Mafia". That town's wincon was to eliminate all threats to that town. A dead Mafia could still win if the town won.

There's no such traditional town in THIS game. There's no traditional town that just happens to be called "3rd Party". The 3rd Parties don't win as a group if they eliminate all threats to the 3rd parties. The dead 3rd parties have no chance of winning (unless they wrote something weird into their wincons).

I really don't understand what you're trying to get at. You're saying I'm in on a team who wins when all threats to that team are dead, but I'm not acting like I'm on that team, so that puts me on that team?

I mean, whatever, if that floats your boat, I appreciate it, because it got me one step closer to achieving my wincon. But if you're

not

on one of the scumteams you might want to get a better handle on the game if you hope to win it...
