That is up to your hood, with the caveat that the rest of your hood claiming makes it easy to sort people into the other hoods.

Black hole has the most CO characters of any nation. So keeping potentially 5 other slots vague means the rest are safely not able to be sorted into the allied nations or one of the days of ruin groups.

^If mostly town there's a metric fuckton of strong PRs in here and I want it left vague as to who is who, so my advice is against claiming the hood.

These questions might be best not answered, I dunno.

How much variance would you expect in neighborhood size? Is it safe to assume that some neighborhood are scum-free?

I mean obviously a few COs didn't get picked but the standard smaller group will be 3 (caulder's faction) and the largest potentially 9 (black hole)

The average is 4 (orange star, blue moon, green earth, yellow comet)

Holy cow this game went fast. I can't think right now.

Sheeping the most adorable player.

Actually you're both town, and all the crap I put in my catch up post was either stupid or commented on anyway.

Unvote

Will try again in the morning.

It kinda does in terms of laying out his abilities. I'm not getting quite as much of a high-five feel from the tone.

This may not be as clear as I thought. The post in this game's neighborhood has a stronger high-five feel than the post you dug up.

Is Neo Black Hole a thing or a construct for this game?

Neo black hole is a construct for this game.

Nations that will have neighborhoods/ will be recognized in role PMs:

Black Hole (villians in advance wars 1/2/3, although lash and hawke defected in 3)
Orange Star (flavor good)
Blue Moon (flavor bad in AW1, flavor good 2-on)
Green Earth (same as BM)
Yellow Comet (Same as BM)
12th Battalion (protagonists of days of ruin)
IDS (Antagonists of days of ruin)
Lazurian Army (flavor opposed but not evil)
New Ruinbelle Army (flavor evil)
Unaligned (the beast, for instance)

PSA: Anyone we are not townreading should be forcibly kicked off the wagon that ends up lynching, and we should be lynching pre-deadline for that reason. Like marketplace two, the idea is to keep scumreads off the power train, and townreads ON the power train.

Your plan has flaws and causes chaos :/

In theory it's great!

In practice the self interest of everyone who knows that they have a power and wants to collect those sweet sweet stars or whatever is going to outweigh the greater good and it should because I don't know what everyone else has.

That's even if we can come up with universal townreads.

Also:

From SCUM GAME in Calvin & Hobbes:
Yeah, I wanted to clear up the suspicions about my neighborizer claim being bullshit.
As you can see, I'm neighborizer.
Also, last night, I tried to hit Skull but instead got redirected to the night kill.
Clearly didn't happen tonight, but I also didn't target skull.

I figure we can use this thread for the following:
1. We can discern each other's alignments. I'm town. I think you are.
2. We can work together to root out scum privately.
3. We can figure out if Neighbor has any better things it can do outside of 1 and 2.

I chose you because you're talkative, I don't absolutely know your align but I think you're town so you won't fuck me on this, and because I actually value your insight, whereas other players aren't so trustworthy/insightful.

From TOWN GAME in Meme Mafia II
Heya.
I'll be taking Xalxe's spot.

Are you scum?

From Touhou Mafia TOWN GAME in the Grilled Lamprey Neighborhood:
Just got here.
I'm Suwako, town-aligned and in a Neighborhood with Sakura, and Gaiden (who just joined us).
Sakura tells me that she's town. I believe it.

I have two Spellcards (oneshot night-use abilities):
I can visit a player and learn their character name.
I can learn who visited a target player at night and this ability doesn't count as visiting that player.

My Top Scum right now are:
GiF, Notscience, Bitmap, and Pieguy.

I don't know if either of you guys are scum.
I suspect Nati a lot less, but since abilities seem independent of alignment, who knows?
Zmuffin, I think your avatar always has me read you as scum. There were several times in Xenogears that I had to double-check the scum QT to make sure you weren't my partner.

So, yeah, I'm skeptical of you guys, but not nearly as much as I am of other players.

Also, I'm having a hard time following the game. There's been claims left and right all of D1 and I lost track of them.

From the same Touhou game, in the Moriya Shrine Neighborhood:

Yaaay! I got the character I wanted!~

So, are you town or are you scum, Sakura?

We should both claim inside of this QT.
I am Town.
I am Suwako.

My abilities are:
I am in a neighborhood with you.
I get to see who visits you every night.

I have two Spellcards (oneshot use abilities):
I can visit a player and learn their character name.
I can learn who visited a target player at night and this ability doesn't count as visiting that player.

Basically, I've got your back this game. So long as you get night killed and I'm still alive, I'll know who did it.

From Open 526 SCUM GAME:
How's it going, TiP?

This setup looks like fun.

From Micro 269 SCUM GAME:
TITUS
WE ARE AS ONE
ONE MAGNIFICENT SCUM TEAM
LET US RAIN DEATH UPON THE FOOLISH TOWNIES WHO THOUGHT THEY COULD STOP US

Also, nice pun name (I like being tight as stuffed crust. Cus stuffed crust is the bomb dot com)

Anyway, just play the game like normal. Be your usual inquisitive town self. Find the scum, Titus.

From Touhou SCUM GAME Misty Lake Neighborhood:

Hey hey Feirei~
Are you scum? Or can we treat this like a masonry?

I think that about covers it.
I've never really slipped when talking about my powers before.
But I guess it's important to see how I normally reveal my powers to perceived team mates to see if it is a slip or not?
Even though that relies on really flimsy ideas of how rhetoric works.

In my excitement this time, I posted in our QT without even reading everyone else's names, either.
Which probably explains why I didn't address any one of them, but just called 'em assholes~.
