Dredge seems... Like a phenomenally poor choice right now. The main decks in the format are those running dig through time and treasure cruise, and one of the ways decks are combating that is with maindeck graveyard hate, along with more yard hate in the board. I think dredge gets all sorts of splatter damage from delver-cruise hate right now. The main appeal of the deck is that you only have to win 1 game of real magic to win the match since the g1 is typically 90% in your favor. If that shifts to 70%, there is no way the deck is viable.

Also, I just don't think its a good idea to play a cheese deck for a 15 round tournament in general.

Do you have any other options?

I went to play standard today and had a lot of fun
went 3-1 with Temur aggro idk what to do with the store credit I am getting as I don't want to build a 3rd deck since I don't think I am capable of building a deck bit by bit I will probably get the 1st couple of cards with store credit then I will just sell of my my traders for 40% of there value and half of my savings to get the rest of them. I just ended up getting unhinged lands XD

I just realized all my round wins where game 1 loss into 2,3 wins and I lost the 1 round in 2 games :P worst possible winning record op

Round 1 - Jeskai (Win) This match up is really good for me, it simply comes down to creatures are able to deal more damage then burn spells and I have no problems with any of Jeskai's threats
Round 2 - Mono Red (Loss) I mulled both games and didn't draw side board cards :(
Round 3 - Abzan (Win) Tempo is really strong and having your opponent tap out to play an elspeth only to have it countered is brutal when you will usually already have a lead. Hornet Queen is rendered useless against Temur charm and the other threats are not big enough. Sorin is good but he requires an established board which means that I am already in a losing position anyway. Game 1 which my opponent won and had sorin it was really good but I was already going to lose anyway unless I drew back to back crater's claws. Game 2 my opponent got sorin but without creatures she could only create a vampire token which is very underwhelming for 4 mana.
Round 4 - Jeskai (Win) Same reason as round 1.

I know this is just a thursday night standard event but I wanted to share as I am having a lot of fun with this deck :)

Just played someone at a small (16 man) FNM who swore blind in the final round x-0 bracket (game 1, so pre-board) that his Windstorms and Arbor Colossus had always been maindeck in his Abzan Midrange, and were definitely not just there because he'd sat at the table next to me in the penultimate round and seen Mantis Rider, Stormbreath and Sarkhan.

At a big tournament I can understand these people, but at tiny FNMs where most of the players are casual... eugh.

Our "judge" is a super lazy store employee who hasn't even taken the Rules Advisor test, and with the exception of myself, the Windstormer, and 3-4 other guys, everyone else at the store is... fairly casual, to the point where main-deck Erase/Shatter/Negate and 65-card decks are common.

It's a real shame because I love playing just about everyone else in the store, except this one guy who is the most stereotypical FNM Warrior you will ever meet. In his own words "he totally stomped a GPT to get [GPT Top 8 mat], but then lost to that stupid U/W control deck from last rotation, such a stupid deck."

There is nothing worse than people who complain post game.

I just want to reach across the table and shake them and say you know what would be a more productive use of your time than complaining about how many lands you drew? Trying to identify the missplays you made that game, because I counted about 20. Or why don't you analyze the gamestate of that game you lost while I was at 2 life and see if you missed damage somewhere?

Honestly, I think there is a very legitimate dividing line between players who complain post match and players who don't skill wise. Magic is a partially luck based game, sure. That means everyone gets bad luck. Bad player seem to think this is unique and bad luck ONLY happens to them. They also seem to think that their losses in magic happen due to luck WAY more often than they actually do. I play a lot of magic. I would say I've lost maybe 30 games to straight up luck in the past year or so? Out of hundreds. Any other game I felt I had lines to win if I could have seen them.

I'll be honest, I'm watching Madrid more than New Jersey, even though the coverage for NJ is way better than Madrid. Modern is a weird format to play/watch.

I never complain about luck and when I complain I don't do it in front of my opponent just to my friends. Although it is still wrong it isn't as bad as you think.
