My agenda for the day looks like mara, SMP, and flubbernugget although we'll see how things play out.

mara is by far my strongest scum-read so far
-don't see how anybody could've possibly seen that varsoon was town, much less declare him "literal god-town"
-as has been said in this thread, i think mara's tunnel on me leans scum because 1. it's based on nothing 2. level of conviction 3. i have a feeling this is her scum-meta but i definitely have to reread games because all of my meta is a year old

Not organized notes from tonight’s meta session.

Difficult part about doing analysis on mara is that she often plays in hydra so I don’t have a lot of cases to work from. The main defining characteristic of mara’s play that I want to corroborate as scum/town is her tunnel with me, and it’s often much more difficult to hold onto tunnels as hydras for a lot of reasons. Tunnels as town can occur out of laziness, which is less common in a hydra. Scum hydrae are I think more creative with

The first game I skimmed through was http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=52813 timeshift mafia. This game started out with her in a hydra, and she continued solo as a really demotivated townie before she got replaced day 4. I see basically zero similarities.

At this point meta is already going back to feb, which is obnoxious and I still can’t find a scumgame. I seriously seriously don’t want to use a scumgame because of how hydrae react with tunnels

Incidentally cabd fery reached out to me in neighborhood super super early. I wish I had access to my old neighborhood but I don’t. She was like “orci let’s work together” at I think page 10 in thread. Might be something you want to consider when you read her.

I think the biggest selling point for me this entire game is how

irrational

mara is.

I mean there's the whole bit where she acts like she's in charge of the town and where she thinks she isnt pushing a wagon that's heavily weighed against what most people are thinking and where she thinks the whole thing is so obvious it shouldn't warrant explanation and where she has a list of people who should be just sheeping her

And sometimes I can't actually tell if it's mara being irrational or if it's me being stupid but there are just so many posts i can't decipher
