why has your vote been sticky on newbie ever since 2155?

2263 addresses the vote a bit, but it ultimately comes down to the fact that Newbie has done more during the time since my vote to convince me that the vote there is right than Mathdino has done to convince me it should be on him. I won't let us NL, so if that means moving my vote, I will, but it will stay on Newbie until something changes.

For some reason I was thinking we had a little longer until deadline, but I actually am going to be gone in 25 minutes, and won't be back until after deadline. I think I need to leave my vote where it's at for now and I unfortunately won't actually be able to move my vote to avoid a NL like I thought I could.

It turns out while you guys have been whale watching someone pulled this classic prank with the binoculars! Newbie confesses but she did it all in good fun. A joke right? It's all somber as the last four of you return to your rooms. This cruise was supposed to be fun. This cruise was supposed to be a great time. How could things have gone so badly? You all hit up the bar. There's another dance going on and the four of you head out. You all get separated, but it's no big deal. Mathdino uses the bathroom. A shaddowy figure sneaks up on mathdino and shoots him with a B.B. Gun in the face. Not deadly but not fun. Of course he's hospitalized quickly...

That is the last straw. The group has been nothing but trouble. The captain orders you all into a room. The last three of you are placed in chairs facing each other. Multiple bottles of wine are placed in front of you. Vizzini's speech to the man in black from "The Princess Bride" starts playing in the background in an endless loop. The captain shouts "FIGURE OUT WHO'S THE TROUBLE MAKER AMONG YOURSELVES OR NONE OF YOU ARE GOING HOME!"

I've shouldered a lot of personal responsibility from town losses in the past (even getting demoralized enough to almost quit the site) when I've been the (sometimes de-facto) town leader and let town down the wrong path.

I'm not letting myself go down that road anymore. I'm doing the best I can with what I have available, but people left alive ahead of me need to use their brains too if I turn out to be wrong. That's just how it is.
