So far I have the desert village, the clinic, Gabemeister's Village/House, and Osota's Estate (the waypoint is in the tower). Are there any other points of interest I should visit? If so, please include the coordinates.
Actually the tower and the Big House are part of MME's house. My house is the fishing hut down the path in the middle of the pond =)

For those Thaumcraft enthusiasts who haven't seen one, there is a hungry node at -1691, 674. These coordinates are outside the threshold where it starts pulling you in.
Approach with extreme caution, a jetpack was not enough to get away. I only escaped via having a warp book in my hotbar.
Flying by with the jetpack, I did manage a close enough approach to view it with a thaunometer, but don't dawdle.
It's rather fun to lure hostiles toward it and watch them hang in midair being damaged a point at a time until destroyed.
What used to happen was it would kindof implode on you, do bunches of damage, then toss you about 50 blocks up in the air - I liked that method because it wasn't always a death sentence. Found one by the ocean once and accidentally got caught, it just tossed me into water and I waypointed it. Never went within 100 blocks of it again.
Regarding ETL's tree farm pausing... Also mentioned by Aphix, who was talking with Oso in chat
Oso mentioned checking the chunk boundaries in the chat. I noticed the harvester sweeps one way and then back the other. Say the chunk to the right is in the harvester's chunk and the chunk to the left is not. When it sweeps right to left (stopping in the next chunk) and there are no trees left, it pauses. A tree grows on the right, but the harvester does not pick up on it. Then after a few seconds it wakes up and starts running again.
My tree farm is entirely in the same chunk, including all 3 machines and all the saplings/seeds. So moving the setup to be within a chunk may help.
YOUR BASE WILL BE OVERRUN WITH THOUSAND WISPS IN LESS THAN 2 DAYS. (Taint spreads. when it covers a 25x25 area or cannot spread further, it starts spawning 4 wisps per 2 seconds.)
Doesn't look like taint, neither waila nor thaunometer even see it. I have visited land with taint and both of them reported things like fibrous taint just fine.
I did have a couple of infusions go wacky on me, have now started keeping my jars a bit more full than necessary for a given infusion.
Technically it's Flux Gas; the stuff that spreads along your floor when you mess up Infusions is another form, Flux Goo. Both can be cleaned up by placing blocks on them as ETL said. They're both the product of Infusion instability manifesting itself, they're not Taint. Taint is everything in those malevolent purple biomes with the eyestalks and the tentacles.
