If you're town, you're misreading me so badly it's painful to read through it. If you're town, your late game playstyle is so antithetical to how I approach the game that as the day has progressed, the few points of agreement I could initially find with you have evaporated. If you're town, then Scripten is probably scum, and that is just incredibly difficult for me to picture.

I would have probably considered the possibility of bbt being scum if pine hadn't essentially counterclaimed my role while claiming a guilty on him. If Pine's scum, then that was a miscalculation. It may not be a game-losing calculation given how things are going. :/

And your inability to see Pine/BBT as scum is a heavy contributor to the fact that I'm doing this. Look on the bright side, in about 18 hours if the game's not over you'll have 'proof' that 2 of your possible scumteams are impossible.

You may have noticed I'm a PoE player. See, I don't like to leave random possibilities floating around if they're unlikely. Right now, if I find something insanely unlikely (like Scripten being scum), I'm more inclined to rule it out than I am to let it fester for us to get all paranoid about it later. Call it a playstyle difference.
That said, I can understand why you're saying all these things. I'm fully aware I don't seem like the reckless type. My thought process is more methodical and I prefer to avoid tunneling. That said, after looking at risk/reward, I'm perfectly happy with what I'm doing.

Well, it's gonna clear Pine for me personally which is nice. I dislike paranoia, it lost Open 575.

On the flipside, I feel like you're pulling every trick in the "Scum appeals to town" book, so you're correct in that nothing's gonna stop this test except solid evidence from you or Scripten that Pine/BBT is the scumteam.
Neither of you are willing to supply that.

Just build a case on me/Pine or something if you want something to do, fferyllt. If this test is wrong, we both lose anyway, and I'm not gonna unvote anytime soon.

I'm pulling my support of Math's plan, and here's why:

It proves nothing of value

Tracker and Watcher can both be scum roles, and often are. Correctly tracking Scripten proves only my role, not my alignment. Therefore, proving that I am a Tracker provides no clarifying evidence. Scum will inevitably argue that I am either a scum Tracker or that I straight up guessed correctly, and we're in exactly the same position we're in now

I'll be tracking ffery. Doing so will either reconfirm that he's the scumfuck I think he is, or give me a surprise innocent on him, derailing a mislynch. Either way, it is more productive than tracking Scripten, which, again, would not actually prove my alignment

Correctly tracking Scripten proves nothing. Incorrectly tracking Scripten proves you're scum. It's a safety net, in a sense. If you track correctly, there's still no indication of whether you're scum guessing right, or if you're an actual tracker. So the fact that scum can be trackers doesn't really change that.

A surprise innocent on ffery may just prove she's a ninja like she won't shut up about. Tracking ffery just doesn't help and is full of WIFOM.

Just do it so I can feel confident that you didn't decide NOT to do it.

Either both scum are already voting him (again) or he's scum.

And like I said, in the process of claiming a guilty track on BBT pine essentially counterclaimed me, so him continuing to sit at L-1 without a hammer does nothing whatsoever to convince me he's scum.

It should convince me that Scripten is town, though. This gamestate makes no sense whatsoever if Scripten is scum.
