I'm going to get back into this, since my Riot friend told me to.

I have an 85 NElf Druid, menaleus, and I'm going to probably use the boost to 90 on a Shaman (undecided as to whether Alliance or Horde. Gonna try to get to raiding level ASAP (I love healing).

Anyone looking for a healer for raiding?

Did they make mists part of the base game? I think they did, don't quote me on that. If that is correct, you can just level normally. Avoid Townlong like the plague, etc.

It should be quicker than that, really... I'm iLvl 625 right now and I've barely played. You'll run the Lvl 100 dungeons a couple of times, get iLvl 615, then you can start gearing up. I'd imagine 630 is what people are going to want for their normal runs. LFR Highmaul will be iLvl 615 requirement, same as Heroics.

(As an aside, I think Heroics are supposed to be as difficult as LFR now and give out the same iLvl rewards.)

When you hit Lvl 100, finish Nagrand quests anyway. They'll give you some gear that'll help get your iLvl up. Also, start doing your Apexis Crystals daily in your garrison immediately, as you need about 5000 crystals to complete the Legendary ring quest. The ring you get for completing Act 1 of Khadgar's quest is iLvl 640. You can also be patient and stomach a full run of MC40 for the 10th anniversary thing, and you'll get a sweet mount + iLvl 640 epic helm for your troubles.

Yeah, nagrand quests! Realistically, you can hit 610 in quest gear. If you don't have whatever the horde equivalent of a dwarven bunker yet, get one.

Heroics aren't terrible. Gear comes pretty quick. Also garrison invasions can give gear if you get gold rating. Isn't too tough with the exception of the iron horde invasion.

Our mythic strats are all ready to go and posted, ready to fight some dudes. I could keep gearing, but what's the point! Battlegrounds are more fun!

I just got an iron horde one yesterday, but holding on to it since gold on it is annoying. Mob density pls

They trigger based off kills of a certain set of mobs, so if you go farm iron horde for a few hours, one May pop up.

For reference: the botani invasion is a fucking joke. Our guild group ended up with like 1300 points.

Apex crystals are a sort of currency this expansion, but will probably have limited use in the long run. Your garrison has a daily show up at 100 that rewards either 800 or 1000 apex crystals. An early part of the legendary quest requires 5k of these crystals.

I like that it comes with an ilvl 640 ring for doing a regular dungeon.
