Why would you make this guess at the time? I only saw the communist miller bit at Eddie asking about the role possibly being fascist, not communist. If those are only two (that I saw) and one was a side comment, although now confirmed-ish to exist, why make the connection?

I find that Early game, talking with others about the setup is a good way to break the ice, and to strt reading them. As to why I made the guess, its because I had only seen claims of Fascists and Communists, which both are political views, but ones that have negative connotations. So I made a guess that the factions names are related to eachother.

I never said anywhere that it is. The main reason I'm okay with wagoning people who are is so I can get an actual read on them and have them do more direct game-related stuff right away.

eh, I didn't realise he had a 2009 join date i thought he was a newb but I defo did not like his comment about dgb trolling cos she flipped her read on you. it is sticky with his narrative on you and to me that seems a bit scummy. I am much better with meta and relational tells whenever I try to use objective tells I tend to get them wrong. i don't think scum are very happy with us finding each other so early.

i wld probably put dgb loosely in the town pile. I have a tendency to get paranoid about her cos she is crafty but she seems to be trying to sort the gamestate which seems town and I like that. I might trust her townread on guille we'll see. also eyesore seems town he is 1 for setup spec and when I was scum with him in a recent newbie game he was way more hedgey than this.

I'm getting ready to go to sleep. I got up impossibly early for lessons this morning (which were omg super amazing) but Im exhausted right now.

Mufgin ignoring the game to tunnel I think is something. I've never played with him, but he might know that espy is an easy mislynch and doesn't know what a pita I am to deal with.

I have a couple town tells for DGB/one potential scum tell for her. I don't think she can be read this early/and she hasn't dropped either of the tells I think I have for her. Until she does, I will take kuribo's can't read her before day two stance.

Well see about Guille too.

I'm going to finish up a couple things and then go to sleep.

So you think that three members of a single scumteam all claimed miller type roles and willingly drew a ton of attention to ourselves early game as well as giving town and possibly another faction free information about the setup without getting any setup information in return whatsoever, while also painting a wide target on their heads for other scumteams and/or a serial killer type role if one ends up being considered significantly town later on?

That's a gambit that has just about every disadvantage a scumteam would want to avoid and basically no upsides. Your reasoning makes no sense.
