Apparently they changed the algorithm this season such that assuming you do about as well as you always do you should place just slightly under wherever you are right now (i.e., with less potential to swing wildly up or down).

did you achieve it before the end of the season or just between seasons?I think we decided the end date would be on the day rewards went out

After rewards were given out, but before preseason.
edit: I may have been slightly off with my timing, but december 15th.

I wish I can get my Smurf into bronze so I can play with my friends. last time I tried I went 6-4 while only playing Zilean support and still got placed in Silver 4 for doing nothing.
