That's a pretty self-explanatory post.

well explain it to me like im 12... and explain why it makes jackal scum

Scumreading someone for claiming scum in RVS is silly. Town does it quite often, and Jake is experienced enough to know that.

Saying he doesn't want to lynch someone for it is meaningless, as it still casts doubt on you for no good reason.

In post 148, fakespeare wrote:Yeah you just made that figure up off the top of your head.

I haven't played a single game on ms where competent players continue posting fluff past the rvs stage. Your comment hyperbolic and blatantly wrong. In fact, I challenge to go through my ISO and find a single post that doesn't actively contribute towards my goal of finding scum.

Stop using playstyle as an excuse and learn to actually play the game.

Of course I didn't make exact measurements.
However, it will be close to that.
There are lots of explanation of abbreviations/terms, lots of useless fluff and lots of semi-useless fluff.
And if you'll represent all the three my quotes above as redunant fluff then you can do the same for around 80% of the content in ms games.

===

Second, as you asked:

In post 114, fakespeare wrote:
Claiming scum in rvs, while anti-town, is nuller than dividing by zero.

Captain Obvious style.

There could be more, but you came as a replacement so you had already some content to analyze and less "fluff-like" posts to post.

===

And the third, my playstyle is not an excuse. It is my way to find scum.
You don't like it? That's not my problem.

I think I'm liking my current vote, although the reason why is evolving.

I'm liking Netherspite as town in this 1v1 slapfest.

Interesting analysis, House. fakespeare vs. Netherspite does read as town vs. scum to me but I'm not yet confident enough on my read of both to determine which is which.

I will hold my vote for now, but it most likely will be on one of those two.

Personally I don't think it's TvS. I rather think fakespeare is a townie who is just playstyle clashing with me.

While with the way you are posting it's harder to distinguish, I feel like fakespeare has been scumhunting more than playstyle attacking. Though this is true based only on the limited sample size available so far.

How exactly my playstyle is detrimental to town?
I believe the opposite.

When I posted that, I was not saying in the first paragraph that your playstyle was 100% detrimental to town. I was trying to respond to part of your previous post, because it felt at the time like you were saying that people shouldn't get onto you if they felt that what you were saying was scummy, merely because it was all part of your playstyle. And if you try and fall on the crutch of screaming "Playstyle!" every time comes against you, then it's not going to be good for the village, and I as one won't want to listen to you. And that's why I then posted "While with the way you are posting it's harder to distinguish", because I was starting to be more unsure that your style WAS actually something scummy.

This helps explain what you're doing better for me.

I am switching from gathering information to posting my analysis closer to the end of the day because disclosing anything earlier invalidates the point of questions.

I could maybe see this as a TvS situation, but I'm not really seeing fakesphere being scum either. I still feel a bit lost in the meta here.

The thought process isn't flawed, to lots of people vote hopping is scummy, especially noobs, I know cause I used to get shit for it when I was a noob, then I used to scum read people for it later. To someone newer, what you did is scummy. To an experienced player, not so much

Not sure how I missed this one.

You can't just blanket say that, cause my experience and your experience could be different(and obviously is different). I don't think I've seen town claim scum in rvs before (I do remember tip saying he's scum but his role on says he's town but that wasn't in rvs and wasn't remotely similar to what happened here), but I know for a fact I've seen scum do it in rvs, actually I'm pretty sure I've seen it twice. My experience obviously is based off games I've played in.
