I was following as well. Seems like a fun setup although scum did get the short end of the stick with 2/3 of their members investigated.

ya I guess FG loves his investigative roles considering how useless even detrimental at times they've been in past games

Before this game, I don't think scum have been investigated in any of his games

Yayayayay!

I loved this setup and flavor; it was a lot of fun to think about. I'm glad my flavor and setup spec were pretty on target. I think the fact that the game didn't run so fast gave me time to think about it as much as I did.

Gave Konowa a townish read for a silly reason, but glad my vca (which I rarely ever do) was pretty on point.

You guys were so nice in the dead thread!

How did the scum know to kill ABR night one? Was that just a shot in the dark?

Thanks FakeGod for running it! I had a lot of fun playing with all of you though I do wish there was a little more activity!

Yeah it was. We were told there were mason lovers and I somehow guessed prie was one based on the knowledge we had. Konowa saw the bert/abr connection anyways so it didn't matter as we'd shoot bert if not prie.

I thought both scum and town played very well. Tammy, ooba, Nobody Special all played spectacularly (correct setup/flavor spec, not tricked by the double bus on Anti, etc). It's pretty unfortunate that Anti bus didn't work out well, but scum team handled it well and kept going. Scum team also had generally fantastic flavor spec in this game. (special kudos to Konowa) Really, the biggest reason contributing to the scum team loss was how the night actions played out than anything else.

I really do think that not shooting notsci on n2 was a big mistake on scum team's part. Scum team had at that point knew the names of 2 town PRs, ns & NS, but opted for shooting blindly in hopes of hitting kovara, who was crumbing a powerful investigative role. It was a very high risk play that ultimately ended up to be undoing of the scum team, as notsci made the two saves in a row in n3 and n4, sealing the game's fate.

I really do hope you guys had fun in this game. It's very tricky trying to combine flavor and mechanics in a way where both stayed relevant, but not game-breaking, and I had really no idea how good people's ability to flavor spec would be. (I had some nightmares about scum team figuring out the 3rd Servant immediately from the flavor and shooting her n1; the former had happened, but latter did not for entirely different reasons)

It was very fun designing the game and watching people trying to make sense of the story I've written.

Thank you for the game guys.

I can safely say that the flavor spec that went on in the scum PT was nothing less than
sublime

Whoo!

This game was carried by Tammy in the day game and not science in the night game (N3,N4 - not the Marquis shot). @Tammy: It's fun working with town you when there is no suspicion on either side.

I think the setup is a bit-town sided but it really could have played out a whole lot differently
- Anti not being there for much of his D2 lynch really hurt scum. They were a good team and I think if he had survived, more gambits\strategies could have been played out by them
- CKD's lynch on D1 didn't actually turn out badly for us - the cop, JoAT, lovers weren't outed
- I also think trying to hit Father Gregory N2 was a mistake

@beast: Your tunnel was distracting :P

I loved the flavor. I hope there are more games set in this universe. Hopefully the player base will really get behind the flavour\roleplaying element next time.

I may be being optimistic here, but this may have how the game have gone had the scum team shot notsci on n2:

notsci death on n2 guarantees kovara death on n3 (her inno on notsci is wasted), then Honey Bee fakes a guilty on NS d4 (he would cc but Honey Bee had better towncred than NS ever did), kill Tammy n4, Honey Bee gets lynched d5, kill katsuki n5.

d6 opens with Konowa, ooba, beastcharizard 3p LyLo, and the way beast has been calling ooba slot scum, I say that LyLo would probably have been a scum win.

Did I mention that I was predicting a scum win when n2 opened?

I enjoyed the game a lot. The replace out of my ,son?, made me really paranoid since I couldn't ask them questions.

@ooba:

Sorry about that. It is a habit of mine to think I can't ever be wrong. You should have noticed that with the Marquis thing. lol

I really enjoyed the neighborhood though but I really wanted to have the power so I was willing to lynch everyone in front of me just so I knew the power was in town's hands.

p-edit:

taking me to LYLO guarantees a scum win. Also, I always second guess myself in LYLO but I probably totally would have voted ooba.

The thought of Father Nobody Special came to me at some point and I really liked the idea. Somewhere between the 'get off my lawn you noisy kids' and the 'back in my day we didn't kill our siblings we just blahblahblah'.

I too think that would be fun.

It wouldn't gave mattered though, who got lynched first.with NS being Conf town and for sure watching me,I would have been able to give at least one more result so if ooba got lynched and flipped I would have found sine time today to send in a target and get a result effectively putting our non-Conf town pile to two people or, konowa might have gotten caught.

The reason I wanted ooba over him though was because he did similar analysis to Tammy regarding the servants but he didn't really push that agenda as much as she did.

Also, if we did manage to mislynch today and tomorrow, there would have literally have been 2 conf town left and the obvious scum

Good game Town.

Apologies Tammy if you thought I was insulting you. I knew you were going to be one of the biggest issues for us so I wanted to interact with you early and the whole flavor spec thing was an easy way to talk.

If I had somehow lived I would have shot you because the bolded was not necessarily guaranteed. Something, something hail mary.

tbh I think not opposing the massclaim was alot worse mistake on my part.

And I'd love to play a flavor setup like this again.

Also sorry konowa putting you through all my bad setup spec ._.
