fakespeare's initial posts feel like dirt-flinging to me. Similar to how scum like null-reads so they can keep their options open, I think fakespeare is keeping his options open by having something bad to say about everyone. The dirt-flinging doesn't feel very pointed. He doesn't really ask specific questions of players, he just tries to blemish them and move on to the next one.

I don't buy your "scumhunting" fakespeare.

Well, activity was really null over the weekend here. And the deadline is in two days now?

I don't feel very confident in any of my reads. The best one that I would have would also be jackal, for the obvious reason that has been stated above.

Question regarding usual game theory/meta here: I feel like there's no one right person to vote for at this time. I've looked through the post history, and don't see anyone that I feel very confident to go after right now. And I am also wary of spending too much time and analysis going back through and trying to *make* a case, because I don't want to let myself get too focused on making a case for the sake of having a case to make over hunting for scum, if that makes sense. So what is considered a 'good' way to approach the game at this point? And is it ever accepted/a good idea to consider a No Lynch if day 1 activities don't yield much of note?

No Lynch is a bad option because it provides no information to the town.

Regarding the case... I don't see any good case that could be built based on the information we have.
There are some things I didn't like (and I've already pointed out most of them) but nothing good enough to make a case.

By the way, why do you say that the deadline is in two days when the Mod's post clearly states it is 4?

im back from my long weekend.

not much happened i see.

no lynch is horrible for town. we need data and lynch votes a big part of that.

i dont see a better alternative than fakespeare at this point. and perhaps it will shed some light on netherspite vs fake.
