There's got to be something awesome with Brutal Hordechief.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
Man, I've been messing with various Sultai 'random card' shells and it's really fun. I like opening my trade binder and saying 'I want to play all of it'
Courser of Kruphix has somehow gone from cool to boring and back to hot new tech again.
I really liked seeing this story on the Wizards mothership today. Making a trans character where it seems to me(although I can't speak directly to that) to be handled with grace and care and where that is not the character's entire identity is a big step.

I am a huge fan of this story. I think it was handled with a ton of grace, and really told a good story for both Alesha and the orc.
Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.

It was a good tale, but the conclusion didn't work for me because the protagonist in the story was the orc and he didnt actually have a conclusion.
I know we talked about this earlier in private, but I figure I'll say it here again. I think he did have a conclusion. Earning a name in the Mardu clan isn't about your feats of strength, of which he was shown to have many. It's about knowing your place and accepting it with pride. And, by the orc's own admission, he lacks the confidence and pride that the Mardu champion, and is not yet deserving of a name.
Plus, the growth of his respect for Alesha and stuff is awesome.

Leaving for the Commune tomorrow and bringing my Conspiracy cube.
my other options at my LGS were Weatherlight, RTR Block, M13/14 and Standard packs.
Using 4:2:1:1 rarity ratios and 3:2:1 for the draft matters cards, btw. With one extra Lore Seeker. Someone better pull one.
(I'd use 5:3:2:1 if I was expanding the cube, and 4:2:1 or 5:3:2 for draft matters, but there's also the issue of space since I'm flying with this thing)
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?
No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible.

Wow. GP San Jose just finished and was won by LSV/Paul Cheon/Eric Froehlich. Cheon had to WIN this GP to get to enough Pro Points to qualify for the PT next week. Just an absurd run. They somehow did it. Well done and congrats to Paul.
Paul had to
grind through
a Necropolis Fiend to win his match in the finals, but he did it. Just a completely insane final match. I definitely suggest watching it when it goes up on YT.

I'm tempted to get back on MODO just so I can play with Soulflayer.

I put it in my newest Standard deck. I'm a big fan of it.
