I just skipped a division in my first promos so that seems a likely trade-off from being reset so low compared to w/l record.

I'm pretty sure that's partially MMR-based or just the fact that you may have won all of your games in that tier?

Maybe. I went 10-5 after placements which was fortunate, and the lp gains are in the 20s so the reset doesn't seem as harsh now.

I was just forced to jungle talon.
in
ranked

I picked Talon, called mid, then our second pick locks in Ahri and third picks Twitch. So I'm thinking "welp, guess im top Talon".
And then our 4th locks in Irelia top.

I loved jungling Talon in S4, but not in ranked, and not with these new camps X_X

We won anyways though, so yay G3

one of the most annoying things in ranked is when someone whines about there not being wards on objectives but never upgrade their trinket. The yellow trinket upgrade is so goddamn cheap now that really NO one has an excuse to not upgrade, but if you're actively acknowledging that you understand vision is a good thing to have then you have no excuse times ten billion.

zor may do it because he sees it in lcs, but anyway, it allows you to get vision in a bush without being in range (unlike a trinket ward) and that goes even moreso for a sweeper which locks you up possibly in a very small area when you are taking down a ward. So if someone has to carry a blue trinket, the adc makes a bit of sense.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.

i should specify that I switch from yellow trinket, not go straight blue. The reason is two-fold, and I'm not sure all the reasons they do it in LCS, but I suspect they aren't the same reasons I like it. First, it allows me to check underwarded major objectives in a way that my single yellow trinket wouldn't allow. I find that is particularly important on Blue side for checking Baron because you can't just drop a ward over the side, and you potentially have to facecheck bushes to get there. It's proved very valuable a number of times in the past. Yesterday it led to an Ace when we were down. Second, it's allowed me a little bit to push/farm in side lanes and then get back to the team without face-checking a bush.

I find it easier as support to focus on red trinketing. My priorities are already vision, so it comes more naturally
