He was in Mummy 3: Rise of the Dragon Emperor (or Tomb of the Dragon Emperor? uh oh) I feel like that might be a good answer for a film no one would associate with him. (spoilers, he was a dragon).

he was in one recently that was kind of forgettable i think, something about iron or gold and the number 7 maybe?

Wasn't he in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? If he was, that answer's not pointless though.
