Okay, by your pool, Marquis, you can leave out Jingle for me because I'm so "Been there, done that."
I want to lynch Aronis and he's off the table for me anyway.
That's leaving Farside, Antihero and Flubber.
Who would you investigate of those three?"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

not flubber, now that i'm thinking about it if he's scum i'd rather lynch him later than sooner since that would cripple the best pr we have alive. or he would try to "clear" a partner if mafia but again not a priority
anti probably. i still have a mild townread on farside. but i still kind of think vda is a good option in case he killed too.link in bio-

Bookitty, apart from targeting within the pool you suggest, I don't think it's possible to work out the 'ideal archivist target', no matter how much we discuss it. To be honest, I'd prefer to discuss the players themselves (whether we think they're scummy, town, etc.) and have you target whoever you think. I trust your judgement, and as I said, I don't think deciding who you target as a group is going to offer much further benefit (except for scum).
Now that we've both established the probable roleblock target, and narrowed the kill target down to two, I doubt the benefit of tracking Victor. The most likely thing is that he did in fact roleblock BBmolla, and while it's possible we'd also gain insight into whether it was Reck or Shii that was shot, I don't think the chances are good enough, nor the potential benefit great enough (e.g. even if reck was shot he could still be SK) to be worth tracking over another target.-

I'm pretty sure I know who I will investigate tonight for last night. If people REALLY don't want me to investigate last night again, tell me, and tell me why. I've given my reasons for why I think it's the best move, but I want to hear from anyone who disagrees. Even if you agree, if you have reasons I haven't thought of, I want to hear those too.
Thank you in advance!"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

I chose you to target last night. I know that you didn't go anywhere last night. So that narrows down the potential targets by one for that night. The other actions claimed for last night narrows down the pool significantly.
I want town to help me figure out who to target. That can't happen if I do an investigation for tonight, for obvious reasons. If I investigate last night again, though, we can discuss and decide it to our heart's content and we can potentially derive better reads on people based on their reactions to various proposed investigations.
This is technically true. But more importantly, it's not the correct play.
The thing is, if scum is competent in the slightest (and Aronis is scum), then they had Aronis make the kill, because he's basically a ninja. We lynch Aronis today, and the scum have to choose someone who can be tracked in order to make the kill.
Further, tonight there are 10 people alive. Two of those ten people (presumably) will be making nightkills. If there's a scumlynch, you actually start giving clears. Otherwise, you dodge the chance that the kill was performed by someone who is already dead. Investigating last night doesn't have a benefit.
I hope you investigate tonight based on your reads. I feel that it will be much more useful. Otherwise, my preferred investigation for last night is Marquis. This is a Parachute.-

Thank you, Jingle. I see your point, for sure. I hadn't thought about the possibility that Victor might have carried out the kill last night, but that's possible too.
@Aronis: I don't really think it's a policy lynch. That usually indicates that the person's actions in the current thread have nothing to do with the reasons behind the lynch. I am not a fan of policy lynches for this reason.
I think you, however, are being wagoned because of your actions and choices here, not because of previous interactions. So to me the term doesn't apply.
@Reck: Do you want to talk to the town about possible investigative choices, or are you all set now?"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

In fairness, my reasoning for it mostly is.
I don't have a read one way or the other on Aronis, but I still want to lynch him based on role interactions. That's definition policy lynch.
Aronis, as town, convince me to lynch someone else. As scum, probably the same thing. This is a Parachute.-

Antihero, he's a great choice for a policy lynch. Why? I'll give you four reasons.
1. His role is almost as useless as mine. The only way it's going to help us find scum is if he dies and if he dies then he can't tell us who targeted him.
2. He isn't doing anything protown[wow, I didn't realize how much me and him have in common]
3. DeasVail [the best scumhunter on this site is voting him.
4. He insulted you and I haven't [yet]. http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... 6#p6612456-

And posts like that aren't doing the town any good^
Investigating her might be better though. That way we could kill two birds with 1 stone.-

Also, VOTE: Aronis
I guess there's no point waiting around and saying nuffin."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

I'm just half reading things. I was thinking kitty should do her investigation for night 1. I think reck is bs'ing and would like him checked out. If not him, one of the less vocal and more useless roles of anti or FlubberSarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.-
