I don't like this because it seems to be trying to nail down who Shii will protect. I strongly feel that Shii should decide that without telling anyone. I don't see any positive effect in letting scum know which of {Reck, me} will be a safe target.

I can explain why I think doing last night would be better then tonight.
Scum or sk can change actions tonight based on how people are reading them. I could give examples of what I mean but it helps scum more.

I don't think it helps scum more to discuss the general theory.

Jingle has made some good points about the likelihood that Aronis could have done the scumkill. In that case, I would have zero shot of hitting scum and only a minimal chance of hitting the SK.

A lot depends on Aronis's flip. I still request that Shii be allowed to weigh in or a replacement found for him, if that is necessary before we hammer and end the day.

I personally like the idea of checking last night, but feel like it would also be fine if you checked tonight instead. Now that I think about it, if Victor made the kill, then the results you can gain from last night are limited, but I'm not sure that altering our course of action based on that possibility is necessary. I'm not sure if I'm more laid back about the whole thing than I should be, but I guess my approach is that tracker-type roles are mostly a guessing game anyway, so it's cool with me whichever night you investigate.

My vote is that you always investigate the night after the most recent scum flip, because that cuts the chance that the night has no useful track results remaining to 0.

I really need to get my head into this game. Sorry everyone for being so absent. I'm busy as hell this weekend, but I should have time to devote to this on Monday.

As for my thought on night one I just figure narrowing down people more.
Here is why.

We know shi bg reck and dv gave him the vest. There is only one dead and based on the set up I can't see anything else that would suggest only one dead.
Bb claimed to be rb, he didn't use his ability.
Jingle, kitty checked.

Sorry I'm tired so if this reads a bit confusioning, that is why.

Anyways based on that, jingle could be scum that didn't do the kill (I don't think so just a devil's advocate moment)
But based on town reads and narrowing down those that I'm scum reading is check null read or scum read based and narrow down sk/scum.
Arnois scum I would pick anti or reck to check based on a few things (mostly think one is the sk) if arnois flips sI I'd look at Flubber do to null read from him.

I'm really wanting to wait, though, for Shiidaji to come back if at all possible. I would give him extra time if possible because I'm sure he knows the way this game works and we would have to wait anyway for someone else to get up to speed. Alternatively, we'd have to just tell any replacement what to do and that sort of makes the game less fun when you're being dictated to.

That's how I'm feeling at the moment anyway.

i agree that DV's a heavy townread, in part b/c a scummy fuck wouldn't just give up a BPvest to a BG on the basis of towncred when there's an SK around. I guess it's possibly for DVSK since they'd have two of those babies but I'm not seeing it.
