I don't even think the reasoning on you is a thing anymore, i was earlier, but rechecking means it's just there as something I considered rather than useful.
It was the way in which you asked for more votes on ika, but that's rather null.

It seems pointless to state reads if you're not willing to provide reasoning for them...

It's pointless to ask me for reads in the first place.

okay i will handle the spoon with more care

i say that the idea that anyone is letting tokens surpass scumhunting is a strawman
you say no

let's just look at regfan
Regfan - He hasn't really done anything yet but 2 town tokens :doubles: his chance of being town.

Regfan has some townpoints for token-reasons, but neither Regfan nor CES has towned very hard yet

Where are Regfan and CES?

if you mean to say that this reads to you as someone who is not really scumhunting because regfan has two tokens,
or someone who is throwing out their reads because "oh hey two tokens",
all opposed to someone who is taking the two tokens into account when they make their reads,
i don't know if i believe you?

Psyche and BBT, your back and forth isn't helping at all, the both of you two are just repeating the same things over and over and not actually going anywhere and don't find either of your arguments particularly useful in determining alignment. Would prefer you both drop it and discuss your own reads elsewhere right now.

Cheery, will settle with an explanation for either of the two town reads you've stated, don't care if it's based on weak shitty reasoning, just want to hear it.

In post 164, Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:
It all just felt relevant. I also think I've probably grown a bit less concise over the course of the last year or so.

Fair enough, any of the town reads of mine you disagreeing with at all?

Also worth stating that my team thinks that Aeroaut fits "Wallflower scum" in that his posts his posts really just leave him in the background but don't think he makes sense with Elk as scum since don't think he'd buss D1 in this setup and more confident on Elk being scum here, want to know what you think of the two of them individually / as potential partners at the moment cause that's kind of messing up our reads a little right now.

because it still was an easy request to fill and I was feeling generous enough to just answer.

the town reads are still all on gut level of getting a few town-vibes, and like I said, not enough to affirm the read itself.

elk is done on a lack of real content, and that is not good content by itslef, therefore not worth putting reasoning on it.

When the ones that actually deserve reasoning being stating and flooding the thread, you'll know about it.

and BBT is now opting to overlook the flaw in his lame llama push
he concertedly asks for my opinion over a dozen posts
and then doesn't pay any attention once i've offered it with the amount of detail he's been hungry for

Yeah, I'm fine with burning elk at the stake as well.

UNVOTE:

VOTE: theelkspeaks

The early game by BBT still rubs me the wrong way, but will concede to Reg that the points are less strong if it's BBT's playstyle.

I'd also vote Cheery Dog, Aeronaut, or Ankamius today, though I don't really have a reason for Cheery Dog beyond the admission of taking a scum token giving him a higher than normal chance of drawing scum.

Would say to varying levels of confidence that Psyche, Oversoul, Regfan, and Llamarble are town. Hoping to be able to say the same about CES, but that will probably take a reasonable amount of time.

The only scumminess I can honestly attribute to Elk is the point that Regfan made on the last page
He seems to not really have a general hold on this game

Tammy says that we should be wary about CES. I'm probably going to let her take the wheel on reading him like last time

BBT I don't understand why you are so bent out of shape on that point about Marble

In post 161, Regfan wrote:TTH; Can you explain what you're referring to with "general game dynamics" in Post 81 for me please.

I was mostly referring to elk's white knighting of the ika wagon and Psyche's early game questioning of it. Since the set up itself encourages scum to defend each other, I'm treating awkward defense as a bit of a scumtell though I do recognize it could be scum white knighting for town cred thus the "light" read.

ika's empty prod for content in doesn't help either.

I thought it was rhetorical.

I have no idea why you said "I feel left out." and that's a large part of the reason I think it feels out of place and not really appropriate. What did you want everyone else to do about it?

Open challenge to everyone: Justify a town read on Psyche.

You cannot use "he posts a lot" or any variation thereof.

Go.

Hi Antihero, why the switch?

In post 184, Regfan wrote:Fair enough, any of the town reads of mine you disagreeing with at all?

I have no idea where the town read on TTH comes from. Most of her play seems reasonably solid but not all that telling apart from maybe (which just seems weird).
