Starbuck's destiny is to not give up on nukes! New crisis is:

Strange Beacon
Difficulty 13
Tactics
+
Piloting
+
Engineering

Pass: Choose 1 space area on the main game board and destroy all Cylon ships in that area.
Fail: Decrease the Jump Prep by 1.
Activate Raiders

Anybody got interrupts to play? Also, Starbuck may wish to consider if she wants to play any Evasive Maneuver she may or may not have, and STD may wish to consider what area to cleanse if the check is passed.

One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

But at least we aren't screwed on food (sorry about that Conoy, but we are only at distance 2 so you'll have plenty of time later) or nukes now.

Alright, then let's get the party started: JDGA is first to contribute!

No, this was the move you were meant to make. I'm proud of you, Kara.

I could play into this and would like you to pass it but I think you've got it and I don't want to muddy the water.

CDB contributes nothing by CO, so LLD is next!

We're
probably
fine, but given the penalty for failure is -1 jump prep I wouldn't mind if you tossed one or two in.

LLD passes via PM, so STD to finish.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. STD puts in 7 by PM, so the total cards in the check is 14:

Critical Situation - 4
Launch Scout - 2
Launch Scout - 2
Launch Scout - 1
Guts and Initiative - 1

Launch Reserves - 5
Full Throttle - 2
Full Throttle- 1
Evasive Maneuvers- 1
Evasive Maneuvers- 1

Scientific Research - 3
Repair - 1
Establish Network - 0

Bait - 0

Two skill check abilities: Establish Network doubles the strength of the Engineering cards, while Bait adds a civilian to the Aft section.

Final Total is 28 for a pass: STD, pick a space area to remove all Cylon ships from.

For the sake of speed, this sort of decision is the sort that should probably be CO'd when you submit cards for the skill check.

Given that Starbuck goes next, you should take out the basestar and heavy raider at fore.
