Do you subscribe to the idea submitted by farside in post 18? (ie. you find it suspect that mollie replaced out when she did).

If so, why do you think it is more likely that mollie would replace out as scum than as town?
Do you think Farside knows enough about Mollie to accurately deduce what would make her feel busy/overwhelmed?

A. I don't have meta on the player. I do believe that a role that would be harder to play could be a reason they dropped.

B. I don't, however believe he knows, but he has a good point.

Well, maybe she wasn't keeping a close eye on the signup thread and missed the chance to WOTC someone.

that or she doesn't like woto as a concept and would rather replace out than cause strife with a woto

This sounds like an interesting idea, but i'd only resort to it when there are several people with sin.

I think I see where you're going, but let's roll with it anyway: Why is it "clearly superior"?

Also, yes, there are many different possibilities for why pirate mollie replaced out. I am not discounting that fact. However, this is a good time to test one of those possibilities!

Then the Angel claims and we are reduced to mountainous w/ a bulletproof IC who still has all the input of all the dead town.
We get no sin until then so the sin counter only goes up from that point.

that's a plan that favours scum heavily ftr, just from an odds perspective

i dont think losing on sin count is going to be that much of an issue this game unless town's collective reads are just plain awful in which case we're going to lose anyway so meh

Well Gaiden has an idea i was thinking of, except in my idea we try to direct the angel's kill via, something like votes but without them being votes, that being said i ran the numbers in my head, and even in worst case scenario 9 ppl lynch a townie and scum just kills that 9 people one by one, scum is also most likely to commit sins that will increase their sin wincon further and it will make easier for us to find scum via NKA that way.
