resolved by opening internet explorer and reseting its settings

I was going to ask why Riven was getting nerfed, but then I realized she suddenly had the second-highest winrate in toplane (after donger).

I know the joke is better nerf Irelia, but the reality is better nerf riven

I count 6 riven Nerfs since release.

My guess is that her winrate increase has been driven mainly by an increase in Vlad's popularity, since they're the two most common toplaners right now, and the most common and successful Riven players aren't building the new cleaver.

I don't know why those things have anything to do with each other? I also have been mostly out of the loop for this patch.

Riven is Vladimir's worst match-up.

For example, in this patch with 2700 Plat+ matches analyzed, Vlad has a 40% win rate. A few other toplaners have lower winrates, but those matchups have far fewer games analyzed.

So now I'm "decent" with Sivir and Teemo.

I like this Vlad guide. I may switch to 6 flat CDR runes and Ionian's when I get some extra IP.

I think taking some scaling armor goes a long way, though, because of his ridiculous HP pool. The scaling HP seals are iffy despite the minimal interaction with his passive.

In general I like ranged chars because in a scuffle I can see where I am and can get away quickly; I spend less time waiting to be alive again. Learned that using Jinx.

Eventually I chose to get Sivir since she killed me a lot once and is ranged. And then Teemo because I heard that people hate him. Also he's sooo cute!

Teemo doesn't do anything to the opponents screen.
