Would I have made this post as scum? Absolutely not (though obviously now that I noticed that gap in my scumgame, I'm gonna try to fill it). I'd be appealing to emotion and calling everyone scummy instead of trying to DECREASE my mislynch pool. Hell, I'd probably even call you scummy and try to dismantle your case. I would've started fighting you tooth and nail from the instant you called me scum. There's no way in hell I just randomly remembered that Mala's wagon was stuck at 3 votes for a few VCs before Egg voted her. And there's no way in hell I would've actually gone back and checked that and brought it up if I was scum in this situation. I don't do that kind of legwork as scum.

This is probably the most self-meta I've ever done and I hope I never have to do it again.

this doesn't really convince me. for a few reasons:

-your town read on Egg came after it became obvious I wasn't letting Egg get lynched today. before that, you were perfectly fine with lynching him. just like how you were soft pushing for jason until it became obvious he wasn't getting lynched, either. I don't really see you legitimately trying to reduce the lynch pool here - you're only eliminating people after it becomes obvious they won't get lynched

-furthermore, you appear to be scum reading Boon now. you've now called jason, Egg, and Boon scum in this day phase, as well as DW. where in here are you trying to reduce the lynch pool or otherwise not calling everyone scummy?

Actually wanted in since the start of this day phase. Jason was getting emotional and frustrated and even with the pressure coming off with recent events, he still wanted out of the game and our team feels like we're better off with me here considering everything that has happened.

Also the whole thing with the night actions I am going to take the blame for. I intervened because Jason thought STD might be scum and I thought it would be better to protect Obv town pie over maybe scum STD. So to some level it's not fair that he gets the heat for that because he actually was originally going to bodyguard STD and I convinced him to bodyguard Pie instead.

The whole thing is stupid anyway as I feel there's a very good possibility STD roleblocked us anyway. (If that did happen that means STD dies anyway and A KILL WENT THROUGH. That last part isn't a minor point.)

Jason generally gets more emotionally invested in his town games than he does his scum games. Amusingly this allows him to coast pretty easily in games where he's scum but leads to him being pretty heavily suspected in all his town games.

the part where I'm reducing the lynchpool is when I come into today going "these are the three people I'd consider lynching" and by the end of the day it's "these are people I'd consider lynching look at how much smaller the number of people is"
I could very easily have put up resistance to jason townreads from setup spec. I didn't. I found my own reason to townread Egg.

(I'm saying I'd bet the game on all of {you, Zach, DW} being town and that it doesn't matter who specifically we lynch if we get one more town read and can all agree on said town reads, since there's only 3 people left. this is different from trying to spread suspicion around on multiple people at the same time)

but you know what I definitely wouldn't have thought to do as scum? Go through and color code past VCs for flipped players and then again for flipped players + my townreads. Not without posting it in the thread so get some credit for it. But that's what I did and that's how I got my Egg townread
